I probably use 60% phone, 20% desktop (work) and 20% laptop (home).

Ive done a bit of reading on the topic and know what i need to do (to an extent) and what some of the better firmware s are and what i can do when i finally install custom firmware on it. N64 here i come!!

Moving on, we tested Pogo on a dual-processor, dual-core AMD Opteron 2210 with 1.80GHz CPUs, 2GB of RAM, and a NVIDIA Quadro FX 560 video card with 128MB of VRAM running Windows XP. On this machine, the remainder of Pogo's features actually displayed, but did not do much else. We found that with even minor use, the browser slowed to a crawl, animations built into the UI were laggy, and at some times, unusable. Performance was extremely poor when even trying to perform basic functions like clicking UI elements.

I am a fan of mIRC myself.

Anyone got any opinions on this? I was hoping to optimise my space and throw maybe 2 1TB HDD's depending on price and availability. The thing is, i cant really find that many internal ones.

currently i have Avira and AVG

got an error this morning that Avira had gone or something so reinstalled it

and it is fine

but i can't update any of my virus softwere

it keeps saying internet connection failing

don't say virus

anyhow any ideas :D

This could be reaching out to our geek audience a bit too much, but the combo media dock-cum-projector housed in the Nikko Electronics R2D2's guts has to get at least a look. Besides the fact that it's the iconic little droid, the projector's remote is housed in a Millennium Falcon Hyperdrive, adding to the geek cred. I think this looks amazing, imagine only having to plug our phone to charge in rainy weather.. All you would have to do is leave it on your window sill when not using it..

I wonder how it would cope with heat issues deriving from leaving your phone setting in the sun? There would have to be corrosion issues with plastics, because people would be leaving it out in the sun for longer periods.

Any suggestions?

another computer problem

so anyhow

decided to update opera to 9.27

and after the update it won't connect online

just get the normal error sign

now i hv restarted my laptop

re installed it

i also had this problem with internet explorer

once i updated it to 7 it stopped connecting it online

so like now i am using firefox

when that automatically updates itself

i fear the worst

ur suggestions would be greatful :)

I didnt hang around to see what other problems it had caused me, as I didnt have sound (and no amount of trying other drivers helped) I had to uninstall the pack, but at least it gives you the option to uninstall it.

Theres no harm in trying it really but be aware it may cause more problems than fixes.

Not bad for just over £200 ($390) in the Uk thats a reasonable price for a mid-range system, I say mid range coz its not THE best CPU or GFX but good for price.

The onboard 6.1 sound is amazing, not in a hurry to get a new card yet but I do believe a hardware card takes pressure off the CPU so i will get one eventually. Any recommends?

Also as Ive only 2 slots for RAM I guess a 2GB stick will bump me up to 3 then get another 2 to take me to 4 and sell the 1GB.

It plays Crysis with ease as medium to high settings and it plays Oblivion on everything up full which is all I was initially interested in.

As for Crysis, I was so looking forward to that game but even on easy mode the AI players are just so frickin hard to go down, I pumped a full round (and more) into most of them and very rarely they go down, head shots or not, and these guys were just grunts early on in the game, no nanosuits or anything. But once I got to the level where some AI had nanosuits i was screaming for a god mode cheat, but I hate those.

But they will not communicate freely. I wish to fix the network settings so i may explor the entire network. And all this leads to allowing me to print from my mac to a windows printer.

ive tried anything i can find on the net and still have no luck.. If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great. If you would like more info on my problem, ie type of router how ive set up my dns and watnot just let me know.
