TFMF
Hey all. I have to say that it is impossible to tell who would be the winner. But I'll say this. The Replicators of SG universe are the Borg of the Star Trek. I mean look at all simularities - the borg don't attack if not provoked as the replicators. They both assimilate advanced technology. Replicators created human form replicators as the borg assimilate others. One Queen that controls all the Borg but if you kill the queen another appears as they are coming right off the conveyer. In a way you can say that the replicators evolved into the Borg. After all the Queen of the Borg is entirely a machine. Yes, she does need a fleshed body to move around but she can do it without. What if some of the replicators survived and deicded that its best to combine what they are with flesh and blood and breach the distance between machines and humans, and become stornger than ever. They have seen that the humanoids could be a real pain in the ass but still they don't understand how humans think cause a robot can think only the way he was created and by the techs it assimilates but still can't figure out the human's illogical actions and strategies. That's what I think although it is a bit off-topic. B) Welcome to the forum, Lordheaven :) Yeah i will agree that Replicators and Borg are similar in many ways. But i'm not sure that i would say that the Replicators evolved into the Borg - i mean we here about how the Replicators almost completly assimilated that galaxy where the Azguard lived. The Borg are a long way off from acomplishing anything like this.
Cornelius Bezelton
The replicators would destroy the borg then use there technology to become even stronger.
Tenebrae
The Borg queen isn't entirely machine. Mostly but not entirely and clearly to the point where she can't survive without her biological component. Replicators wouldn't bother messing around with flesh - I mean, why would they? The only thing they like is technology - they don't much care for organic things.
Arktis
Have the replicators ever made an alliance? The Borg have. What if the Borg managed to ally with someone like Species 8472? The replicators wouldn't stand a chance against 8472. Their entire tech tree is biological. Without an alliance though. I think ultimately it comes down to whoever has the strongest nanites. Without pure nanite warfare, on open ground, I think the replicators would win every time. They could consume a cube pretty fast; forcefields would be the only thing really slowing them down, and Borg cubes do not have regular shields around them. Certainly the Borg would self-destruct after a certain point of takeover, but you can't really win a war that way.
Kuvamakh
I don't know....it is a tough question, but i'd say that the replicators would have the upper hand... As said before, a single replicator could "stick" to a borg ships hull and "assimilate" all the info and keep replicating until there is nothing left of the borg ship....by then any "adaptations" the borg develop the replicators would have means to counter it b/c of the data that the one replicator transmitted to their w/e collective is called....lol In addition, the Borg only have the Queen while the replicators have Samantha Carter...lol
Tenebrae
Replicators could shut down Asgard systems easy as pie, they're light years ahead of the Borg.
