maverick Posted February 8, 2006 Share Posted February 8, 2006 Nice pics everyone - hey Mav - I'm going to (in a few months) try to give you some competition with that bodybuilding :D no competition sadly, i injured my back not long after that pic. havent been to the gym in a year. i cant wait to get back, i get excited when i think about it but the damage i did has the potential to be permanet so am takin my time. be happy to compare notes tho. if you want a good book buy Arnold Schwarzenegger's Encylopedia of modern bodybuilding i kid you not. this is a great book and a bible to body builders. there isnt much you might need to know that isnt in here. Had great time walking/gym-ing today, unfortunatley no maxing outs this time - still a little bit feverish/quesy since the puke-flu that hit me last saturday actually at the very same gym ;) I'll post a pic by the summer time lol (though mind you I'm a pretty big guy, I used to press 90kg 6-7 years ago but that was then and in the words of that jackie-chan wannabe old guy in some comedy/agent/copshow said: *he appears at the gym.. he's in his 50's or so while everyone at the gym is generally young, healthy and fit or huge* Guy says: hey, aren't you a little too old and fat to be here?" he answers: "no, just fat" :D Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

maverick Posted February 9, 2006 Share Posted February 9, 2006 i was pushing about 90kg when i was training but that was super setting a lot typical chest day 3 x 10 bench press 3 x 10 incline flies (superset one straight after the other without a break) 3 x 10 incline press with bar 3 x 10 decline flies (superset) 3 x 10 decline press 3 x 10 flies (superset) real dips at 45 deg angle 3 x 10 pullovers with bell also a chest priority day after a coupla days break. then triceps narrow bench push downs with lat pull machine - the action is easier reverse single arm pushdowns pullovers with ez bar seated position dips til failure x 3 abs then fall down should be 90 mins or so if sticking to breaks strictly Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
