Pella
Since I'm doing the TV shows, it makes sense to do the Audios as well. Do people want me to include the specials? BBC Audios? etc
Bob43434
Yeah you shoud include the specials. ( I assume you are talking about Shada, Real Time, Excellis and the subsciber cds)
StitchInTime
To the best of my recollection at this moment, The Marian Conspiracy, probably because I think I listened to it about five times. :cyclops:
Pella
With only 3 people voting so far, I wondering if it's worth continuing with this poll.
StitchInTime
Maybe, after the ruckus dies down, out there on the plains, a few more refugees will stumble in. :cyclops: I'm so lucky I got all my cattle into the barn before the wolves came and took 'em. ;) Zounds, but those wolves can sure get real mean fast, when they're all riled up like that. :o I sure hope our founder's got a good silver blade to protect himself with. I certainly wouldn't want to see him get chewed up and all. :(
USWhoFan
My vote went to Sirens Of Time. I'm new to listening to the audios and out of the handful I've heard, although all were pretty good, this is the one that's really sticking out in my mind. (Sorry, I should've seen this sooner, It's been crazy here.)
Potato
Tough call... Three of my Favs are in this group. I voted for Shadow of the Scourge as I've always loved the Virgin NAs (having even submitted one to them) and this fits in with those quite well. Potato
Check it out. 5 votes; 5 seperate plays. Talk about disparity, Would seem to indicate that there is an audio for every one.
Pella
lol. Makes it difficult to break the tie though. Think I'll leave this one a bit longer...

Antilles
I finally listened to my first BF audio last night...and I DIDNT fall asleep, 'Spare Parts' was brilliant, thanks for recommending that one Potato. I always liked the voices of the original cybermen but this time at least I could understand what was being said. To hear a story at the birth of the cybermen was so cool, never thought Id ever see it done but it worked very well. Ill still always prefer the visual Dr Who stuff but yeah, I think Im gonna enjoy more of these BFs...I have, after all just DLd 1-58 so theres a whole lotta listening to do. My only problem is in deciding what to do next, Time Of The Daleks or Davros.
Pella
Erm, thank who for recommending it!? Walks of in a huff, muttering a carefully selected vocabulary of curse words from the 'What is our FAVOURITE DOCTOR WHO story' thread: Genesis definitely for me' date=' even though Id love to have seen MORE of the Daleks, what we did see was pretty damn cool. Now, weve never really seen a 'creation of the Cybermen' type story. Id like to see how theyre origin began. I have several stories that I like to watch over n over but Genesis is probably the one Ive watched the most, comfort viewing too when I feel crap.[/quote'] Listen to 'Spare Parts'!!! by big finish, it's wonderful story that is the genesis of the Cybermen. Antilles
Aaaargh sorry Pella, I got mixed up when Potato spoke of the new series in another thread...serves me right for relying on my memory rather than checking my old posts. Humbly begs forgiveness and asks you to walk back in! :)
Pella
lol - Just glad you liked it. Do we have a convert? I would recommend listening to Davros next and then either Sword of Orion or Chimes of midnight
Antilles
I think you most definitely have a convert. I actually look forward to my quiet times so I can listen to more, plus it takes up less resources than video so I can carry on listening when Im doing non essential stuff on the web/pc! Potato
Aaaargh sorry Pella' date=' I got mixed up when Potato spoke of the new series in another thread...serves me right for relying on my memory rather than checking my old posts.[/quote'] That would be the one where I posted that Rise of the Cybermen and the Age of Steel were "inspired by Spare Parts". I'd go with Chimes of Midnight of the ones Pella listed, Unless of course you really l;ike your Cybermen ;)
Potato
Pella, Maybe you should have done these by Doctor, we might have had more agreement. The way it is it's almost a favorite Doctor poll. Just a thought.

StitchInTime
So it appears, but appearances can be deceiving. It does look like there are a lot of ties and no clear winner. Who will be the tie breaker? Oh, the suspense is killing me. ;D
Potato
Really? Cause it's just tickling me. :D
