Bapman
One thing I don't like or get in SG is... why do they introduce some nice and cool characters thn just take them away without developing on thm. Like SOKAR got killed within a season... [The gould who represented the DEVIL] JONAS QUINN... he left and never came back. n My personal FAV The YOUNG Jack O Neil... the clone created by LOKI on Season 5 or 6... don't remember... but its been like few years now... they could really spin a cool story around him. BUT NOOO Anyone else have any other rantings like these !?
Amnot Borg
Jonas Quinn's planet was messed up pretty badly by the Goa'uld thanks to Anubis. Jonas was going to work with the government to get everything running again. Young Jack might be a senior in school by now or even possibly a cadet in the air force if he goes the same route as before. I would like to see more of them also. Plus I'd like to know what exchange of technology happened with the Hebridans mixed human/alien culture. They were pretty far advanced compared to modern Earth. Symok
Plus I'd like to know what exchange of technology happened with the Hebridans mixed human/alien culture. They were pretty far advanced compared to modern Earth. Yea, wasn't Earth/SGC supposed to get an ion drive to study? I don't recall them mentioning using ion tech in the Prometheus/Dedalus... Tenebrae
SG-1 have got a lot of tech in recent years... but I think the excuse is they're retroengineering most of it in Area 51.
Centurion
I suppose we didn't see these characters last season due to the Ori plotline. I mean, the idea to convert SG-1 into a brand new show... I hope the writers find a way to bring them back this season, though.
Bapman
Ok... clarify to me... WHO were the Hebridens !?... I don't remember thm.
Amnot Borg
LINK Hebridans Descended from Celtic islanders, this race is perhaps one or two hundred years ahead of Earth. First seen in "Forsaken", it is thought that their ancestors may have been transplanted from Earth by the Goa'uld System Lord Morrigan. It is also most likely that their closely allied race the Serrakin defended and freed the Hebridans from Morrigan and thus the two societies merged together. On their homeworld Hebridan a leading corporate conglomerate - virtually a monopoly in every industry - is Tech Con Group. The Loop of Kon Garat, an annual race, is held in the Hebridan solar system, starting and finishing just beyond the atmosphere of the planet, and is sponsored by Tech Con; the winner gets a lucrative contract piloting with Tech Con's shipping division. As of 2003, the Loop had been run fifty-nine times. ("Space Race"). Of all the various civilizations met by the Tau'ri, only the Hebridans have developed a capitalist economy dominated by commercialism and consumerism. Television screens are everywhere on Hebridan; the TV announcer for the Loop of Kon Garat humorously remarks, "If you're just joining us, well...where have you been hiding?" Hebridan's chief technological advancements over Earth are a form of energy weapon, and an ion engine, using liquid nitrogen as a fuel. The Hebridans agreed to give Samantha Carter and other SGC scientists an ion engine to experiment on in exchange for transporting a Stargate from an uninhabited planet to Hebridan, which did not have one, presumably along with a list of addresses (without addresses, a Stargate is useless). Amnot Borg
We don't know. The damn writers haven't told us anything yet.
Vyperion
Here's another one that I'd forgotten about but the episode was on today - Show and Tell. The Re'Tu sepratists want to destroy the Go'auld by atrition. Another Re'Tu creates a human clone with extra-sensory perception whom Jack gives tha name Charlie. At the end of the episode when his 'mother' is killed the Tok'Ra take him to help him out... ...and that was the last we see or hear of him. Seriously it could've led to telepathy, telekenesis, all kinds of psychic abilities but he disappeared which suggests he died.
Amnot Borg
He was dying. They mentioned that in the show. It's why everyone was so sad that Charlie had barely had a chance to live. The Re'Tu didn't know how to make a human clone without damaging it during the accelerated growth process. They basically made an organic translation unit... who happened to be a little human boy.
