Intergalactic Travel Times?

Now... uh, Evolution was it? The one where SG-1 find human form replicators. Anyway, in that - it only seems to take them a matter of hours to get from one galaxy to the next and that's supposedly down to the fact they're towing the Prometheus.

Yet in 3x02 they say that the Asgard ship will only "shave a couple of weeks" off the journey. AIDS.

Possibility one - Asgard ship is not as fast as the usual, like a smaller ship with a less advanced hyperdrive

Possibility two - Pegasus is a great deal further away than the Asgard's home galaxy which is why only a couple of weeks are taken off

Possibility three - a combination of one and two, distance and speed meaning slightly longer/shorter travel time

Yeah, the Replicators made a mothership capable of intergalactic travel in about five minutes. Fair to say they're better than the Asgard - which is why Mechano beat their ass.

The distance thing - that's true... hadn't thought of that.
