Avatar problems should only exist for uploaded avatars, the problem is likely related to the webserver software and not the forum software. NiteShdw announced somewhere that he might be changing his webserver software back into a more standard solution, so quite a few minor problems may dissapear when that happens. The biggest worry was if only I could see it - but even that didn't make sense to me as I could see it regardless of whether I was logged into LJ.
