Rara Avis
Has anyone caught this new scifi show: The Sarah Jane Adventures? It's a Doctor Who spin-off. I saw it a few days ago, not too shabby but I thought the "monster" was a bit juvenile. Hopefully it will improve, as I am scifi starved! http://www.scifi.com/sarahjaneadventures/
Amnot Borg
It's supposed to be juvenile. It's aimed at a younger audience. I also watched it. (part of it, fell asleep)
USWhoFan
I did catch it on SciFi, although SciFi added an entire 30 minutes of commercials to the first episode, it's not a bad show I enjoyed the first season but you do have to remember it's meant for a younger audience. wesireal
I am 62 and was 61 when this series was broadcast last year in UK and europe. Believe me you will learn not only to like it but will also feel relaxed after watching. That is what it did to me, took into fantasy land of sorts. Yes it is a spinoff of Dr. Who for children but I watched every episode. It just grew on me. >:D I am starved as well, any suggestions?
Rara Avis
Didn't know it was meant for kiddies, but that sure figures. Sorry, no suggestions. TV is just a vast wasteland right now (except for SGA and BSG). Look next for a reality show focusing on alien abducties! :p Only in America baby! Amnot Borg
I didn't watch the show either. I just read the preview blurb that showed up on my television telling me what was on. The menu is one of the great things about DishNetwork.
vystral
SciFi has been advertising this heavily. I have yet to really get into Torchwood, so another Doctor Who spinoff probably isn't right for me at this point. Doctor Who, though, is a wonderful show--don't get me wrong.
