never really see the union jack flying in this country much. probably because being british is seen by some as racist and imperialistic. pisses me off

theres an advert on when you go see films in the cinema over here saying how downloading is stealing and illegal, they also managed to get a link in to it funding terrorism and organised crime!!! dont see how when none of us pay for downloading, just how stupid do they think we are. i laughed so hard at the advert, my coke came out my nose!!!

i generally download, watch, and delete..... if i had almost everything deleted (most of what i do have is tv shows anyway) if they busted me, they wouldnt really be able to do much i. i dont get how they can say that downloading is illegal, if broadcasting a pirate radio station for example is illegal, but listening to it isnt... "broadcasting" files on the net (sharing) should be illegal, but downloading (listening) shouldnt imho also, as im on AOL (which is obv american, can they be made to tell on me?)

do we have military bases in the usa??? i dont think so... (probably wrong) why do the us need bases over here when we're all meant to be allies? its almost as though the usa doesnt trust us

a law passed in the us congress would presuably not affect ppl not in the usa tho would it??? i heard once about a bloke who got a letter froom fox or wb, threatening leagal action for something, (sed they'd settle out of court for 7mil) but because he haddnt broken any uk laws, they couldnt touch him (unless he went to the us) and sed he didnt even have to respond

a monthly bill of $40 for gas?!?!? how cheap is it overthere? i spend approx $130 on gas a month!!! im deffo moving to the states. but yes, i was gonna get a card and just buy fuel with it (that wayi know i'll be able to pay it off) so i could establish a credit rating, but no one will give me a card :( dont know why, ive had a small (£300) loan before to buy my laptop, but i paid that off in time (before the interest kicked in) som i should have a good credit rating shouldnt i?

is that like a debit card? where the money comes straight out of your bank, like writing a cheque?? so you can only spend what you have.
