I voted for temporary ban after some warnings. It's only fair to give ppl some warning that they've commited an offense. AFter they've been temporarily banned and allowed back into the site. Then they're posts/downloads, etc, should be monitored for an unspecified time. I say unspecified, because if the offender knows how long someone will be watching thy're account, then they'd probably just wait until they know that no one is watching and pull the same crap again.
But, I don't agree that specific torrent clients should be banned. If ppl are going to abuse, leech, not seed, etc, then it doesn't really matter what client they use, they will find a way.
I personally use bitcomet, and do my best to give back what I take.
