  1. Ive had mine for a few months and its got the lates 3.95 firmware but theres no custom for it yet, and Im hesistant to mess around unless Im absolutely sure what to do. Im watching this page for help http://www.dark-alex.org/index_psp.php
  2. But if it was The Doctor & Jack doing it, theyd let it pass no doubt :)
  3. Well that was...different. A budget episode? Didnt spend anything on special effects, all set in one small room really. Story wise, it kept me guessing all the way through, played with my mind, frustrated me, and then it ended, thank goodness. Definitely one for the bin LOL I still enjoyed though just for the experience. Oh and next weeks trailer YAY Rose is back. And she appeared on the monitor again, briefly.
  4. Looks like he could be some kind of special weapons Dalek TFMF, most of his armour is all charred and dirtied and he has no sucker...some kinda cutting device even? I dunno but why the extra support between shoulder and dome and why 3 dome lights? Weird, hope they are real and not just some fake model promo stuff.

  6. They both look cool, Im glad theyre going back to the classic look for Davros, near the end of McCoys era he did begin to look buried in wires living in a fish bowl. :) I just hope his voice sounds right, Michael Wisher had it perfect in Genesis, and I never really liked Malloy's voice. Nick Briggs no doubt will be doing it, or maybe the actor who gets the job in the 'bath-chair'.
  7. Well I thought Doctor Moon was going to be a bad guy but he was simply a manifestation of the 'Doctor Moon' orbiting above the library planet. Probably not Moffat's best but still better than most. Midnight could be scary, I love things that go BUMP and noone knows what it is Mwahahahah! :)
  8. Too right, Amnot Borg :) My fav, met the guy in full garb 1977, even gave me a jelly baby!
  9. Bruce Purchase, who played The Captain in The Pirate Planet has passed away. That was one of my favourite Key To Time stories and loved his performance. Mister Fibuliiiiii....... Another classic Who loss. http://www.gallifreyone.com/news.php#newsitemEkEFpEFpkyRtmomSsY
  10. Dont know how old you are but Im guessing you didnt grow up with the Doctor. To me, the appeal has always been with me as far back as I can remember. It has its share of tacky moments, both classic and new series. Youve really got 45 years (minus 16 +1 movie) to catch up on. But definitely you should be watching it, but thats only my opinion. Compared to some of the stuff around these days it certainly beats a lot of em. Just one word though, ENJOY!
  11. Too right I cried 'sacrilege' when Stallone removed his helmet, how dare they :) Dr Humphrey Who LMAO, yeah I like it!
  12. I didnt see it until early Sunday morning but was well worth that little extra waiting. If Moffat continues with his usual excellent storylines Ill be more than happy but I prefer his 1 episode titles but I can live with his doubles :) The net was crawling last week with rumours and theories about CAL, River Song etc and where some were close to the truth it wasnt as dramatic as some of them made out to be, ok she was definitely just someone from his far future so nothing for us classic whovians to get excited about as many thought she may have been a future incarnation of the Doctor, a living TARDIS or even Romana. I was intrigued however by what she whispered in the Doctor's ear, apparently she whispered his real name. I really hope were not going to find out what it is, it will completely ruin the mystery of this 45 year old show. If they do reveal it , then 2000ad may as well take off Judge Dredd's helmet and show us his face after all these years. Gotta keep the mystery alive guys. :) Season almost done, awaiting anxiously for Davros.

  14. Well theres only 5 episodes left this year and weve still got the So I think we should start seeing some more juicy plotlines. Strange how this episode talked a lot about spoilers and plotlines, probably just an in-joke though.
  15. No way, it was rather good. Different and mysterious, a little crazy yes but definitely Steven Moffat. It felt like a classic series story to me and just the kind of stuff I can watch again. Guess well just have to wait til next week now :( PS Ill have to watch again tomorrow but Im sure when the camera passed the little girl just as the Doctor (psychiatrist) was about to tell her about the Library, youll see 2 childish drawing on the wall, one definitely looks like a wolf and the other appeared to be a blonde girl...Rose/Bad Wolf perhaps? Intriguing.

  17. Tets, for about the last ten years it has become more and more political and not voting on the quality of the songs/acts at all (well, a little). But Terry Wogan noticed it years ago when the ex-Soviet bloc countries all voted highly for each other, same for the Balkans, Greece and Turkey always give each other high or top marks, as do the Viking countries Norway, Sweden, Denmark etc, its pathetic. If youve never seen it, watch next years and youll see what everyone means. A newspaper critic summed it up today by saying even if they resurrected John Lennon & George Harrison and persuaded Ringo & Paul to get back together to sing 'Let It Be' UK would still get 'Nil Points' I hope Terry really does pack it in after nearly 40 years, its not worth it anymore, lets leave the freaks in Europe to do it themselves or have the public vote, not regional TV celebs who probably have a gun to their heads off camera. :)
  18. Well at least the upcoming 2 parter is written by 'Blink' writer Steven Moffat, who is also taking over from RTD as Im sure you know. If "Silence In The Library/Forest Of The Dead" can prove as popular as "Blink" & "Girl in the Fireplace" as well as his 1st 2 parter "The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances" & "Time Crash" then the future of Doctor Who looks golden.
  19. Perhaps now Dr Who can be a gay-free zone. Im not homophobic but its been getting just silly sometimes. Thanks RTD but glad youre going, Moffat can do just as well and writes more memorable stories for all the right reasons.
  20. I forgot to mention, just in case non-uk fans didnt see the end credits properly, Dr Who is back in 2 weeks, same thing happened last year. The bloomin Eurovision Political Comedy Show...err I mean Song Contest. or it could be just a good reason to forget this weeks episode :)
  21. Oh dear....if you dont like murder mysteries then you wont enjoy this at all. Quite a bit of comedy more than anything else. No great sci-fi or links to any other part of the series, unless of course the mention of missing bees has anything to do with that wasp (which I doubt). Roll on next week and forget this one is all I can say! I think thats the first time Ive really been a bit negative about Dr Who since Black Orchid.

  23. Oh well spotted my man. Of course it wasnt the whole theme tune, but yes most definitely the B7 orchestra in action! Just those key notes was enough...I wonder why they did that, I saw no link to B& at all.
  24. Fear not, I was both pleasantly surprised and a bit disappointed in the revelation of the story. An altogether dull story in a way with a typical and predictable ending, but of course a nice twist in the epilogue, which was also predicted as the story neared its end. Since were pretty much half way through this series, no more signs of anything building up toward a big finale, I was hoping 'the Source' in tonights show would be some kind of link to Davros or something. Agatha Christie et al next week, not really looking forward to it that much but maybe itll have a nice surprise and not just an historical period story like Black Orchid.
  25. Just my luck that I happen to now own a PC with both an AMD processor and nVidia chipset. :( Ill be going back to Intel at the nearest opportunity.
