  1. Pull my finger? Welcome to the site...
  2. Yum! Vegemite Lover, I am!
  3. Fuck off. Posting polls about polls is trolling. Anyone who does it is a smeghead. Dunce.
  4. Dare or not. Vegemite rules!
  5. Um... Google translator for the win, not sure if it would have made sense. "I call to my cousin" style is where you call to your cousin, who comes and beats up your enemy for you. It's similar to "My dad's bigger than yours" お主に日本語分かりますか? You are right, it made little sense, save for the context you presented. What I'm more impressed with is your grasp of colloquial Japanese. Good on ya!
  6. えっ?意味分からん!
  7. Well, it was on the first post, but here it is again: http://www.upn9.com/promotions/trekpoll.shtml I went ahead and sent off my opion on the matter. Don't think it is going to do much though. From the look of the site, I am not even sure that this is a national poll. It looks specific to a translator station. It asks for home town, but not state. Things must be bugging somewhere. I saw links in neither of the mentioned posts. Hrrrmmm... :(
  8. I've studied Fah Q for many years now. Here's my favorite move...

    Hi all

What do you mean by most? ;)
  10. Remember this? Well... Its happened again. One month with no responses and I thought this topic was done. Damn you Skippy! ;) Well, except for the sig of werecow, that may live forever. I have to say I have never tried it, and my god, I wouldn't unless someone stuck a gun to my head. On second thought, maybe not even then. Don't knock it till you try it.
  11. Did anyone take notice of the coffee cup? I hope you Trekkies/Trekkers did!
  12. Golly, I love a good Vegemite breakfast! I took a pic so you all could enjoy it with me! Cheers!
  13. Masterful observation, lassie! I love semantics! On another note: I see some people complaining about the complaining. It seems as if some people are a bit put off by the complaining. I think their dissatisfaction with the “not so positive opinions†is misplaced and misdirected. In my opinion, there are two perspectives from which to judge a show. I think that those two perspectives can be clearly understood from understanding how a show is made. I think that the producers of any television show have an obligation to the current fans. They have to create a show with continuity, character development, and general cohesiveness. One way a show can be judged is with these things on mind. Producers of a show also have an obligation to entertain the newcomers of any particular show. These people will be generally unaware of any of the previous storylines and will be overwhelmed by anything that is too heavily dependent on the previous storylines. Ever wonder why they have a minute of previously on (insert show name here) at the beginning of 2 or more part episodes? That's for the benefit of the newcomers to a show. The producers of a show can't make a show too deep without scaring off the new blood. It needs to fast paced; it needs to be action packed; it needs to be entertaining most of all! This is the second way a show can be judged. I also think that these two perspectives from which to judge a show are mutually exclusive and cannot be grafted in ways that do not create conflict. In defense of the complainers (no offense intended): I posit that these people are far more in line with the first line of reasoning/method of judgment I presented. These people have a long-standing relationship with the program/storyline that allows them (if only in their own minds) to justifiably complain about an episode being too watered down/rushed/thoughtless. To say that the complainers are wrong in their judgments on a particular episode is OK when you are judging their judgments from a similar perspective (from a similar long-standing relationship with the show). However, in my opinion, to judge them from a dissimilar perspective (a newcomer's perspective) is just plain unfair, not to mention presumptuous and arrogant. Unless you can judge with purity or provide undeniable arguments/evidence that combining the two above said perspectives is a valid approach, then don't bother to judge at all. Crazed, Absolut, Chrisis, c4... I agree with you all. Did any of that make sense?
  14. T=H=A=T'=S I=T=? It was rushed (as stated before).... But I must say, I would watch Enterprise before Full House ANYDAY!

Nothing a can of "Whoop Ass" can't cure! :p :p :p Can anyone say 'Left Field'? Where did this come from? True. Very true. But most of us will never be older than you! ;) ;) :p
  16. I live in Japan and have the 100Mbps connection. Very tasty.
  17. I like it without the land masses. :cyclops:

    Omega Liquid

I vaguely remember reading about something related to this a while back on Science Daily. Sounded pretty cool. Here's an additional link... It's a little old, though... Chizzek I wonder if it's possible to change the polls so that multiple choices can be selected. I read about this and 'The Omega Directive' is one of my favorite Voyager eps. Great story...
  19. Atta boys! I love these little things! Got any more? This one is a doozy!
