i swear down this was for real.... and i am GUTTED i wasn't there. Don't know too much about the details as my mum isn't the sort of person who would stop and talk, nor does she like Star Trek... eg. if you're watching TNG she walks into the room and says "oh... is that whats his name... disk drive?" "no mum he's called data" if i was there there would be a good chance that I myself would be buying Earl Grey because I drink loads of the stuff! :)

I couln't believe it when she told me but it's true. My Mum was at the deli counter in tesco and looked across her shoulder and saw a bald headed guy about 60ish years old... he then says something "Yes... i'll have that cheese please, yes.. that one there, number one.....the wensleydale with cranberrys... make it so..thankyou...." (well... obviously he didn't say that) ... my mum said she recognised the voice - it was him! If only i'd have been there. damn :)

TNG is the best.... Patrick Stewart is an acting genius. I'm just getting into Enterprise, have watched most of the first series and it hasn't really impressed me in a big way yet.. i hear it gets better in the third season?

play.com has is selling £35 per season. i've seen them on e-bay for £10-20... but the photos all look like different boxes. To be honest ive not used e-bay before, but i know quite a lot about it as friends use it all the time. anyway... i haven't watched TNG from the beginning for years and am looking forward to re-absorbing myself in my favourite sci-fi tv show :) im gonna go watch one of nitshdws rips :)

i know e-bay can be a bit hit and miss.... there's quite a few that claim to be the originals in sealed wrappers... the sellers also have very good ratings with replies from loads of people. im still not sure about the versions... im sure some of the disk have different packaging and different extra features?

Hi Guys need some advice! Want to purchase the original box sets of Star Trek TNG but im unsure about a few things. play.com have them and in the photo they look like newer or different versions to most of the box sets people are selling on ebay. I don't want to buy one off e-bay and find out its an early release or something and isn't as good quality as the most recent packages sold on play. I was just wondering how many versions of the individual season box sets have been released in the UK and whether they are any different from one another in any way. Don't get me wrong, I love Niteshdw's rips, and have downloaded a lot of them, but as a lot of you will agree, Star Trek TNG is best viewed in the highest possible quality! Thanks! Slide
