  1. AN article I read on Outpost Gallifrey (http://www.gallifreyone.com/newstv.php#newsitemEEEuyZyupyDjDQQbrq ), and they got it from Doctor Who Magazine. Here is the info: According to the new issue of "Doctor Who Magazine," out Thursday, the title of episode twelve is Bad Wolf, confirming rumors that the ongoing hints of this phrase in several previously aired episodes do indeed have something to do with the ongoing plotline. DWM also confirms that Anne Robinson, known on both sides of the Atlantic as the host of "The Weakest Link," will be making a cameo voiceover appearance in one of the last stories of the season, as "the Anne Droid," confirming rumors circulating the past week.
  2. I hope I am wrong too. Retconning a show usually backfires. Like many associated with the old series have noted-no matter what they get rid of, be it monster, character, or obscure bit of Wholore,it will be SOMEONE"S favorite. So any change will end up bothering some diehard Doctor Who fans. Generally not a good thing to do when attempting to get a series up and running. But, rewritting seems to be the rage with revived series, and the timewar will allow for any sort of change (like the rumoured new Dalek design). In theory it could be a good thing, allowing the writers to update some of the classic monsters so they can pass muster in the modern era, so they look less like guys in rubber suits. It also allows them to reverse anything that doesn"t work. For instane if the new spider/hover daleks don"t catch on, they can be "timewared" right out of existence. Maybe even a story where the old and new daleks fight amongst each other to determine which are the "true daleks". Heck, this might even be the backstory for the new dalek episode. Or not. Time will tell.
  3. Based on what I"ve seen so far, I am getting the impression that it wasn"t just one group involved, but that practically every temporally capable culture wound up involved in the Timewar, along with others. I suspect it might be a way to wipe out most, if not all of the classic Doctor Who species and history-similar to what Enterprise did to Star Trek"s continuity. I suspect some sort of tempoeral paradox was created that resulted in much/most/all of the particapants being removed from the spacetime continuium. In the promo for DALEK it is mentioned that the Dalek somhow dropped through the spacetime continuium,. Also, the Doctor appears surprised when, after he intrrduces himself, the Dalek goes into a "EXTERMINATE!" mode. He states that it is "impossible". While just a clip, I suspect that this hints that the Doctor"s past history with the Daleks has been eradicated in the timewar. Otherwise it would be the expected repsonse. It is even possible that the current Doctor isn"t the 9th anyomre, but that the timewar caused his timeline to go off in a new direction. This would leave more room for regenerations and retconning. It might also help to explain why the new series is considered a new series/season 1 rather than "classic series"/season 27
  4. For the list- The title for Episode 12 is "Bad Wolf". This has something to do with how they have been foreshadowing this title in the episodes so far.

    DR WHO

Everone seems to think so., but there are a lot of other possibilities. For all we know it could even Susan or Adric!
  6. Delgado. His version was a far more complex and interesting character. He could be deal with , and led to better interatcton with the other characters. For example, the byplay between him and Jo Grant simply couln"t take place with the latter versions. THe problem, IMO is that with The Deadly Assaissin the Master gets a fixaition with staving off his death along with a suicidal desire to kill the Dcotor that made him something of a characatuer of the orignal character. He goes from scheming megalomanic to raving psychopath.

    DR WHO

ONe thing about Dr. Who is that the series is always changing. One story mght seem poor, but the next one could be fantastic. Or vice versa.Even many o the best episodes had bad bits. The new series is just starting, and is bound to have growing pains, just like the original program. Heck by this point in the orignial series we have seen a decent pilot episode, followed by a story about primitive people loooking for the secret of fire.
