Do you use the lightscribe dvd's at all?

Well, the Galaxy class star ship was built for deep space exploration. They have families on board so officers would not have to leave them home, where they would possibly not see them for months. The Galaxy class, although built to take a beating and give one back, was not a "Battle Ship". Also, the Saucer section, where the living quarters are, could spererate leaving the warp section as a battle ship if need be. Remember, Star Fleets main goal is explore, not to engage in war.

I understand the need to free the site from "pointless" posts. But I think the hammer might have missed the mark. Perhaps there should be a seperate section for "non-scifi" topics in general... I always kinda thought that was Ten Forward, but obviously I was wrong... I think the mods should be greatful that we don't suffer from real spam like most forums, like "Click here to get your free ipod mini..." etc..

Normally I try to keep to a "light Buzz". However there has been mornings when I've woken up and not had a sweet clue where the hell I was. An example of this: One night my friend and I purchased a quart of vodka to split. Me being the greedy teenager that I was, drank about 3/4 of it. The last thing I remember is finishing off a drink sitting on the couch. Apperantly, after that, I went to the kitchen, sat down and demanded my friend (who is female i might add) do nibble on my neck (she taught me how to "nibble" another long and strange story). She being more sober then me said no, where I stormed off. I grabbed a blanket, a clock radio and a glass of water, and set up a bed outside. I woke up to the old lady accross the street poking me to see if I was alive.... Now thats alright and all, but this next story is why I cut back on my drinking: Again, another night with too much vodka. Everybody was pretty much passed out. I was out cold on the floor. I started puking while I was on my back, and started choking. One of my friends (useless friend I might add) Yells to another friend that I'm choking. She comes running out of the bed room and pushes me on my side. I mean, I could have died that night, and I would have never have seen it comming...

I was just surfing around the other day when I found this by random.
