Personally I thought all these were the weakest of the Baker era. THey were too full of weird science and not enough monsters. However Warrior's Gate stands out of a pretty bad batch.

Mine is Tom Baker as he was my first Doctor (I remember Pertwee but only very vaguely) although I have recently been watching a lot of the Pertwee episodes and have really enjoyed them.

I think thats a little far fetched as it would almost undermine the whole series.

Well the 'Americanisation' of Dr Who was an attempt to make it mainstream in the US. Had it have worked MaGann would surely have got a series. Sadly it did not. Bear in mind this was always just a pilot and NEVER a film in its own right although that was how it was marketed afterwards. For me personally it was a great shame it never caught on as I thought McGann was outstanding in the film. The BBC should have shown some balls and carried on with him regardless.

I think these sites are a very nice touch. It shows the BBC are paying more than Lip Service to Dr Who. The future looks bright.

Good Choices: Anthony Stewart Head is a natural for the part. Patrick Stewart would be amazing but maybe too typecast in the world of SF. Roger Lloyd Pack who is an outstanding serious actor although best known for his comedy roles. Tom Baker. I quite liked the idea of bringing back Baker as an older version of an earlier incarnation. Bad Choices. Alan Rickman. Too well known for being sinister. Nicholas Lyndhurst. I nearly fell over when I saw that and I'm lying down! Ian Mckellern. A lousy Gandalf who would make a lousy Doctor. (Ironically I think Baker would have been an outstanding Gandalf)

Just having a guess here but I reckon that the episodes from now on in will all have a 'Time War/Bad Wolf' reference in them growing in strength as we progress.

Hes already said the season will end in a cliff hanger on the Beeb.

The 'presumed dead'? I think it will be a 'classic' enemy. Adric? Unlikely as from the small blurbs around it seems to be a sinister reunion, not a happy one. Davros? Has been ressurected virtually every time he's appeared. Very likely and would feed into the last 2 episodes nicely. The Master? Is he supposed to be dead? I thought he was alive after 'the movie' but the Doctor said in 'Dalek' he's the last Time Lord so its possible. The Rani? Please God no.......... The Cybermen? Also unlikely as theres been no mention of them in connection with the new series. My vote goes with the Master, seeing him and the Doctor joining forces and then heading into the Time Wars together......

The appearance of the person the doctor thought was dead is in Boom Town (#11) and not in 'Bad Wolf' or 'The Parting of the Ways' so is unlikely to be Davros. I'm going for the Master as the doctor thinks all of the time lords are dead.

I read a while back that the final 2 parter will be a Dalek story. In the Doctor Who special Radio Times, when it gives a run down of the episodes it says 'more Daleks? We reckon so' I think it will be about the Time Wars as the time wars were mentioned a good few times in 'Dalek'
