  1. you can even reverse the 'dna rewriting' process even if there is no human dna left' date=' only if it is in the end of episode ;). You can do anything, that helps to make a happy ending and it is impossible to do anything that would solve problem to quickly (in the middle of the ep ;p)[/quote']

lol thats the kind of answer I wanted, i was meaning to poke fun at the writing and the cannon/"universe", when did this whole new universe thing in fiction start?

dont get me wrong I am a sci-fi nut I read everything(not just st), but there are some really funny things about startrek, and a lot of plot devices that are used far too often, u can even predict episodes u've never seen

I remember when i was 11 watching TNG with my brother the funnest thing would be to talk during the whole episode, watching for the funny things, week in week out.

my brother thought of the klingon mindmeld(headsmash)...lol good times..

I spose this should be in the earliest memory of ST thread

  2. Now it seems to me everyother episode of Startrek has a countdown to a lethal dose of radiation- not just one kind, but many different varieties all coined by the wonderfully creative authors(I dont know how the radiation types differ in effect)

While it's true that they avoid dying, mostly, a NEAR lethal dose of radiation is nothing to scofe at(I SEE U SCOFING! STOPATONCE).

If here in our timeframe(universe?) we were exposed in such a manner those of us choosing procreation would find a few suprises with our mutant babies, plus hair loss and who knows what else.

Am i just being silly? Should I assume that there is some sort of genetic treatment? Never any disabled ppl really.

Ofc st is just fiction but this question is nagging at me.
