I live in the Netherlands and I can tell you that enterprise is not the show people like to watch. The best example is an uncle I have, he asks me for the enterprise season on dvd but he talks about how much he likes TNG. ENTERPRISE IS NOT A SUCCES IN COMPARATION TO TNG and that is what stockholders want: another big succes. You can say all you want but in the end it is the money that a network is in for!! I don't know as much as most people seem to do about the "tv-situation" in the states but to me it makes sense to make reality shows. Not that I like them nor watch them but if you make more profit than that's the way to go. We are quite passionate about Star Trek because we like it so much. From my point of view it's all terrible. Nevertheless if you're a stockholder you aren't concerned with the show or the ratings but you are concerned with the money you can/might earn. And stockholders are in control!!!!!
