I think thats the problem for me... just too cute. I can see how her and Sevens characters couldplay off of each other well... but she was just too darn cute/sweet/innocent = obnoxious character. Plus, the whole bringing wisdom to the situation through her childlike thinking (she WAS a child after all) was a bit much to swallow. But then again i didn't like Whoopi on TNG either for a similar reason. In fact.. .THATS ITS! Naomi is not Wesley, but Whoopi! The same character... able to be pulled in on occasion to allow the crew to step back and look at the problem through a different point of view.

No. But I bet my wife would B) But actually, she doesn't turn out that hot. This is from VOY 257 "Shattered" - 17 years later.
  4. I think it's great when they go back and patch up holes in the Star Trek Universe. Which is probably the reason why they did it ... to get all the real geeks off their back. ;)
  5. Or even better: "Holy junipers Captain! The borg are getting away!" "Dont worry Ensign, thats why I strapped this plasma torpedo to your back and am beaming you on board their cube." LOL :p

EDIT: I mean "Naomi Wildman" Does she drive anybody else as nuts as she does me? :stare: Since the forum is right now discussing Wesley Crusher , I suggest that Naomi Wilder is the Wesley Crusher of Voyager in that she is Voyagers obnoxious character. LOL :p Your thoughts?
  7. The future Harry Kim and Chakotay state that they will be able to know if they have effectively changed the timeline by the reasoning that if they have... then they will no longer be there. (In other words... if they are there to wonder if the timeline has been changed... then it has not). HOWEVER, this is in contrast to what i see as most of Star Trek's temporal beliefs in the multi-verse... that a change in the timeline doesn't necessarily change the ones who changed it.. but changes it for another "reality" or alternate universe. What are your thoughts on this? :stare:
  8. I've never liked Wesley and have been intrigued by rumors of contests to see who could kill of Wesley the most creatively. HOWEVER... I talked to a pro-Wesley advocate and I have to admit that the idea behind him is interesting enough... but why oh why did he have to be so obnoxious? :stare: :D
