  1. Souds awesome just think of the special effects budget that would be needed though. An ancient ship that is automated planting stargates I mean the ancients didnt have asguard beaming technology so they would have to be physically placed on the surface of planets. And what I would like to see would be a stargates actually being built. And when they talk about [to the ship] do they mean another cityship like atlantis or another sort of ship like and ancient warship but bigger.
  2. I have an idea hopfully somebody will no what the hell i am talking about but. A long time ago there was a case that you could buy that you built yourself it was kind of like a big mecanno set I dont think there was any metal sheeting available with it. It was just like a frame that you could configure yourself you would sit the drives and motherboard inside it. Sorry tried to find it but cant remember what it was called I think it would be perfect for you you could just lift the components out of your toolbox enclosure easily then.
  3. Watch this video and you will hopefully notice that the music is from Startrek Voyager. Don't no how I came across this but here it is. http://flash2cash.com/?id=wespac Takes a minute or so for the music to start. What do you think of this could they get sued?

  5. The Guide! To put your PS3 into a DMZ (To be done on the PS3 Console) Firstly, you will need to assign your PS3 a static internal Ip address. This means that everytime your PS3 connects or "talks" to your router, the router will assign it a different internal IP address. These IP addresses typically run in series. So for example, if your PS3 is the second device communicating with your router, then it will be assigned an ip address of 192.168.1.3. However, if you choose to use your PS3 without the computer being on, the assigned IP address your PS3 has will be 192.168.1.2. As this is different, and obviously will change, it would be stupid setting a DMZ up on one of the above Ip addresses, unless your PS3 was the only device that would ALWAYS connect using that specific IP. To make sure that your PS3 is always assigned the same internal IP address by your router, you will need to go to the "Settings > Network Settings > Internet Connection Settings" option on the PS3 Cross bar menus. You will be presented with an option which primarily asks whether you are using a Wired or Wireless connection. Obviously, you will choose the option which refers to you. If choosing the Wireless option you will need to input the security details in use on your router *If you are not currently using wireless security, i strongly reccommend you do so ASAP* Both selections should show a page called "Address Settings". Here you will need to select "Custom". Another page will then display entitled "IP Address Setting". The option "Manual" will need to be selected. This will display a page where customisable IP Addresses are available to be selected. IP Address - This will need to have the Static IP address in it. Personally, i use 192.168.1.100. I use this because it is extremely unlikely my Router will ever automatically assign this IP Address to a device, as i will never have 99 other devices connected to the same system. Subnet Mask - Is always set to 255.255.255.0 Default Router - Is the internal IP Address of your router. To get the exact ip of your router you should go to Start Run cmd [Hit Enter] Type in ipconfig and hit enter, this should come up with all the ip addresses to do with your computer and the network. The address you will need to enter in this option is listed as "Default Gateway". Primary DNS - Same IP Address as "Default Router" Secondary DNS - Same IP Address as "Default Router" After entering all of these IP Addresses, you will now click "Enter" or hit the "right" button on the D-Pad. This will take you to a screen which says "MTU" at the top. My setup has this as Automatic, solely because i haven't a clue what MTU actually means or does. This won't affect your ability to set up a DMZ. The next steps are very simple. You do not want to use a proxy server unless you connect to the internet using one, however i can be of no help there, and you should enable UPnP if your router supports it. To put your PS3 into a DMZ (To be done on the PC) Now head over to your PC, and load up your internet browser. In the Address Bar, type the IP Address of your router (the one you found using the Command Prompt earlier) This will take you to your Router Configuration Page. Every router interface differs from an other, and depending on what router firmware update you last installed, router interfaces can differ, even on the same model routers. This means that you will need to search the router config page yourself. You are looking for any mention of "DMZ" or "DMZ Host" When you have found this, it will ask you generally to input the IP Address of your DMZ Host, which is just the static IP address you assigned to your PS3 earlier, my example was 192.168.1.100, so we'll stick with that. Then click "apply" or similar. You should then turn off everything running on your home network. PS3, PC, Router etc. This is solely to make sure that the changes are applied as soon as possible. This should fix all of the problems as listed earlier in this guide, and probably some other issues which I, myself have not encountered yet. If you have any questions, please list them in this thread, and i will endeavour to answer them as quickly as possible. however if I do not reply, i'm sure other people will to help you lot out bigdav
  6. Thank you for the reply my next question is. The default IP for DMZ on my router is 192.168.0.0 wich is confusing because the IP for router is 192.168.0.1 I have also set my PS3 with a static IP of 192.168.0.7 should I use that IP for the DMZ. Does setting the DMZ on my router with IP 192.168.0.7 give unrestricted access for my PS3. Thanks again.[br]Posted on: March 16, 2008, 03:22:48 PM The Guide! Any info on it would be great and thankyou for the reply.

  12. Hi I have NFS Pro Street on the Playstation 3 and am having a bit of a problem. I have my PS3 online and during gameplay and after finishing races you get to upload your stats and you can also upload images of your cars. These uploads go to needforspeed.com my problem is that in the game it tells you to go to needforspeed.com and login to see your stats and uploaded images. So I went there signed up for an account but my problem is that I dont no how to link my needforspeed.com account to my Playstation network (PSN) account. Once you are logged into needforspeed.com there is a My Games list but I dont no how to add games to this list. So if there is anyone out there who nos what to do or has this game on the PS3 please help. Also I have heard people say this game is crap and I though it was too when I first got it but when you get used too the crapy menu design and layout the game itself isnt bay you get used to it after awhile. And does anybody no where is the update that is advertised in game I looked in the psn store but couldnt find it.
  13. I already have a PS3 and I would like a Nintendo wii I just dont want to spend $400.00 on another console that is why I am trying out a few of these type of free console offers. I live in Australia and dont no how much a Wii is worth currently so I just said $400.00. It ended up costing me $400.00 for my PS3 as I traded in my XBOX and 10 games for it. Oh it would have only cost me $300.00 for it but I got an extended in store warranty for 2 years for $100.00 as well.
  14. Did you sign up using the referral link if you didnt then it is probably not going to go well. Thanks for the comment though.
  15. You have all probably seen this before but thought if you dont wnat to try it at least it will give people something to chat about. Use this referral link please. http://www.xpango.com/?ref=91110426 This is a bit different to other free console scams as you have probably seen before. As you earn credits I am trying for the Nintendo Wii. You can earn credits by doing trial products: Purchasing products such as usb flash drives (Rip Off) By referring others to join the site. If you feel like helping me out Thanks. And you dont seem to get any junk mail in inbox I have not got any yet anyway.
