As a quick addendum, I received an email from Amazon this afternoon informing me that my order has again been delayed and they anticipate it MAY BE dispatched by the 31 of January. I am pretty certain the books I ordered had been written and published at the time that I ordered them. I am therefore left wondering what the hell is taking them this long to post them out.

I agree with myself on this one. What I dont understand is why my profile has somehow split into 2 and i can logon as me but be only 'drtim' and not "thedrtim"? What the hell is that about???? I have to vote for the entire Mad Max series. I love them all.

I ordered some books from Amazon in late October. I am still waiting for delivery. This has happened time and again with this bunch of jokers and I am getting a little plate faced and psyco eyed over the affair. I think their cutomer relations and shipping departments have been staffed with trained dogs. In future, I will place my hand in the juicer before I order anything from this bunch of no hope p****s. They don't deserve the business.

Good point. I remember that sometime not too long after the school shooting at Colombine, a blanket ban was placed on the reporting of similar events and their incidence dropped to almost zero. The media, although it plays a part in the dissemination of information must be careful to not act as a publicity machine for things., It might also help if they confined themselves to the reporting facts and not opinions or one sided, rhetorical propoganda. And with the fourth estate in mind, lets all pause for a moment and remember the man that was Kerry Packer. I s'pose there are only so many body parts you can buy from your pilot before the whole thing gives up the ghost. I'm confused. This is apparently a rebuttal, but to what I don't know. Perhaps you could explain to me what offended you and prompted this response. I am deeply sorry mrdad. I think you'd need to read the whole thread through to untangle it but my post was aimed at peterwheeler, not you. Yeah. You've got to have the "cop in the head" for this type of stuff to work so you frighten people softly at first until they become used to the idea that the cops are somehow entitled to treat the populace like underlings.

ATTENTION PETERWHEELER: I dont have time to reply in any detail but how about contriving answers to the following questions: Which of the terorist cells came from Iraq? Who involved in the awful destruction of the WTC was from Afghanistan? The answers: None and none. Now that the idiot admin of the good old US of A have gone into both of these countries throwing crap around left ,right and center, you have a new generation of terrorist grown on hatred bred from seeing their lives and their livelihoods destroyed in the name of someone elses war, a war for oil. Before you reply to this, i urge you to look at US foriegn policy history for the answers to the question of terrorism. Look at corporate culture and read about the Munroe doctrine, manifest destiny and your country's history of colonialism and then when you KNOW something about your own country's real past, talk to me about terorism. In the meantime, every time you post here, you simply make yourself look like a know nothing xxxxx. Share you opinions by all means but please be ready to defend them with FACTS and not just blind RHETORIC.

So if I were to email you and say something like "Cherry BLAIR is packed full of C4 and TIMED to go off like a FIRE CRACKER" or if I were to say "lets sell all of that HEROIN to FUND our TERRORIST activities in the kitchen" your email would be intercepted and read by someone who would presumably see that I have written: "EXERCISE IN CENSORSHIP. ALL COPS ARE COPROPHAGIC" And you might then get a nasty letter from Scotland Yard, yeah???
