The 25th Anniversary game was one of the first encounters I Had with Trek, actually. Found a demo on an old compilation CD once. And my favourite Star Trek game has to be The Birth of the Federation, with Bridge Commander as a close second. Although I just HATED my XO during the entire game. Me, the captain - "Uh oh. I did something bad." Saffy, the XO - "I'll report you at once, you bastard. I should have had that captains chair. Not you. Smelly hippie." Well, come to think of it. The XO's obvious lust for my chair is kind of amusing. But hell, if she could just pull her OWN god damn weight and order Red Alert and Shields Up like Riker does. But only when fired upon, of course. Good game though.

Trek? Plot-devices? Never!

FYI; TOS had four different bridges. 1. TOS series. 2. The Motion Picture 3. The Wrath of Khan -> The Search For Spock 4. The Final Frontier & The Undiscovered Country. TNG had 2. One for the series, one for the movies. My favourite bridge is the Final Frontier & The Undiscovered Country-bridge.

Last I watched was something in Season 3 of 'Enterprise'. Can't remember what ep it was, but Tucker got pregnant. I think it was Tucker.

Great stuff! And I found out I had never seen Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country before yesterday! IT WAS GREAT! And the different looks on the Klingons actually back up the Klingon Virus-arc in Enterprise.

Thins have a way of not staying dead if the money is right.

Just look at Star Wars? Lucas in 1983: "Woohoo, I've finished Star Wars... and I'm filthy rich." (Remember all the loot and swag... like toys etc.) Lucas in 2005: "Woohoo, I've suckerpunched the audience into buying three more movies. HOORAY." (Add load of loot & swag-sale here.) Lucas in 2006: "Woohoo, next up? Trying to pass off 100 episodes of a Star Wars show on the fans... and get so filthy rich... that... it's filthy." (Guess what? There will be more loot and swag up in here.)

I'd love an academy show. And it would have to involve a lot of frustration over the Kobayashi Maru-scenario! :stare:
