  1. Q: Why does organized religion almost always fail in tourist towns? A: There are not wise men, and there are no Virgins. haha. I think god is just a imaginary friend for adults who are not comfortable in themselfs to belive we are allown and that we are responsible for are own actions and other people are responsible for there own actions and that god has nothing to do with anything except for a form of control by a group that feels the need to tell people how to run there lifes. Like a show that is coming out on A&E, about young guys going for the priest hood......"God or the Girl" OK doesn't anyone see the problem in giving up "relations" with girls? I mean if we were not ment to "use it" then why are we born with it....if we go by what most religions say we would have to cut it off and keep it pickeled in a can and duct tape it back on when the church deems it. no wonder most priests are A:Gay B:perverts C:both. hopefully I didnt offend anyone.
  2. or maybe we should stay on earth before we go muck up another planet
  3. I'm thinking of buyying a Xbox 360 to keep me in the house more when I'm not working to help save some extra money in the long run. Does anyone own a 360? I have a few basic questions, and I don't trust sales rep. Can you hook your computer to it and watch movies from your computer on your TV like you can with a xbox? Are the games worth it? I like the looks of Ghost recon. Is it a bug clunk like the old xbox? and what other cool features does it have that you may like? Keeping in mind, I hate video games lol. but I did it once with the old Play station and I was able to save a butt load of money in a short time. Thanks. Chris
  4. Funny, I have never had any problems with fire fox, but just with IE I very rairly get any pop ups with firefox.

  8. It does redirect in a way, when I have a IE window opens or I open the window it opens another window right to www.winfixer.com and other "anti-virus" web pages while leaving my current window open. I use firefox 90% of the time, but would still love to get rid of it. what kind of companys rely on spywear and spam to sell things? Chris

    BORG

Hey! I was wondering if any of you know where the Borg came from (in trek world), who was species 001 or what ever its called and how did they become borg?
  13. Yeah that sucks. But the cold war, governments and military started the space race. Now because countrys are not compeating for the first man in space, first on the moon or mars because no one can really afford it. I think to get a Ram Jet, or anyting cool that would benfit space, or public space travel would be the private sector. So never know, we might have a space tourism race on are hands that is starting to develope.
  14. go ahead`and take it, i found it somewhere else. like i want to spend the time making it lol.
  15. thought u guys would like it haha.
  16. That is cool stuff! A guy up here in Canada wants to send someone to space, he was compeating for the Xprize of 10 million. He built a V2 rocket engine in his basement and to the dismay of all the people he asked for help who all said it couldnt be done.... he had a full test, and nothing went BOOM. it was pretty cool to watch on discovery channel.
  17. Good luck on a fair settlement, I hope all goes well for you and your family!

  20. ok so i thought being a star trek forum someone might be able to help me. I keep getting pop ups from something called winfixer when ever I'm using IE, does anyone know of a free shareware removel tool that will work? my adaware does the blue screen of death when ever I try to open it. it drives me nuts when im hotmail or even have a windows explorer page opens it fires to a web site wanting me to buy somehting. thanks
  21. yeah we man kind has to forget about religion....it cause's so many stupid little conflicts. just because someones imaginary friend is different then the other peoples imaginary friend in certain parts of the world people think it gives them the right to fight. also people have to loosen up. look what happened when a certain cartoon was published, no need for the vilont protest.....i think in that case they were causing there own problems.
  22. I would like to think that we could live in a utopia society, but to bad with all the ignorance towards each others religion and other issues that people can not put behind them (he called me a poo head) it is very unlikely. But if you do want to live in a utopia move to Whistler, BC. Never garbage on the ground Everyone is always happy Visionary Euphoric Restful Fun Adventurous Kicks @ss Elighting We always try to "keep it real" here, but the thing is. This town was artificially planted for the tourism industry, so the $20.000 logo "keeping it real" is really similar to when someone gets a breast implant to look and feel better. so fake. But, its the closest thing to a utopia after all the tsunami that took out Asia over a year ago...most of us didn't hear about it for at least a week after it happened as well as other disasters around the world that gets massive press...we live in a bubble here! So if you would like to get away from politics and the constant Iraq war coverage then come up here for a visit.
  23. ok and the picture i tried to post didnt go up for some reason. oh well.
