  1. If memory serves more then once there was talk of promoting Worf on the enterprise. In the most toys when they believe data is dead Worf is promoted to head of ship ops and in best of both worlds when picard is gone Riker mentions making worf first officer but decides to keep him at tactical because no one could replace him there. Truth be told, he prob. became first officer on the enterprise after nemesis.
  2. As a finale, this episode did a good job of taking themes from other episodes and bringing them together. However, it was still -so bad-. Grey a bad guy? Oh no! Didn't see that one coming! [/sarcasm] And a killing spree of characters? What is this, Gundam Zeta? Poor Toshiko, life just took a giant crap on her over and over again. I'm so happy this ended the season and we don't have another episode of this same story dragging on. This season of Torchwood was alright, it had some highs and lows, but this episode is def. the low water point.
  3. Not to over fanboy out on this thread, but, I believe the reason we see more Time Travel then not is because of the people we're dealing with. In TOS and TNG, we're talking about the flagship. Best and brightest of the best and brightest. Tens of thousands of (making up a number because I don't feel like looking it up) different species with billions of populace each. The best of those apply to Starfleet academy, and then the best of those get years of experience on actual ships, then the best of those get to the enterprise. Looking at this realistically in this light, Ensign whatever could be as smart as any of our greatest scientists. With this level of intelligence on a ship, time travel might not be so big of a deal. In voyager the time travel tends to come looking for voyager as opposed to the other way around.
  4. oh lord I really want this movie to be good, but I know better. JJ Abrams had better to be ready to feel a lot of hatred from fandom on this one though. Even if it is good there are still people, some of which are here I'm sure, that won't like it because the cast is not shatner, kelley, doohan, etc. I'm going to give this a chance, but for god's sake please let the actual movie be founded in some form of science. welding in space? really? oh well, it's too soon, it's just a teaser trailer without any of the actual actors, we'll just have to wait and see.
  5. i'd love to hear about some BC mods, I never played that game and had assumed that it's time had passed, but it looks like I was wrong
  6. I tried this game on PC, and found the controls to be a little wonky. Has this issue been resolved or was it only an issue for me?
