  1. *sighs* Lucky. I'd consider buying from the UK and paying for shipping, but as my dollar is cashing in at all of $2.10 per quid, it's not even remotely worth it. :-\
  2. EDIT: Just re-read this and thought that maybe this came off the wrong way. I'm NOT asking for someone to post a torrent, or even a link to a torrent (although in this case it'd be completely legal), or even a crack... it'd just be nice if someone could point me in the right direction, or shed some light on the situation. So recently I bought myself a copy of an old favorite (even though everyone else and their mother seemed to hate it) in the form of Star Trek: Starship Creator Warp 2. It installs just fine, but when I go to play it it asks me to make sure the CD is in the drive - even if the CD IS in the drive. Apparently, this is a fairly common problem. Worse, the company that created discontinued any and all support for it a few years back (there's not even a FAQ anymore). And there's naturally no fan support for it, because it had so few fans in the first place. So, I went off and tried to download an ISO via torrent, in the hopes that maybe it had been cracked or something, and it wouldn't ask for the disc. I found one, but it's more or less dead. In the two days I've been downloading it, there's been only two other peers, and I've downloaded all of 8.5 megabytes at blazing speeds of 900 bytes a second. The tracker directed me to this site (or rather, the old site, and then I got redirected), and now I'm here in hopes that someone has a functioning copy of this game, and would like to share. Or, better yet, knows where I could find a crack - I could even prove that I own the game (via pictures) if piracy is a concern. ;) Thanks in advance to anyone who bothers to read this...
