  1. Thanks Commodore TFMF! Well over a month late on my reply, but your wishes are still greatly appreciated. trekfreak04
  2. PC here... More room for upgrades. Can't say the same for the others.
  3. I will never forget him motioning us to the autograph table, as myself and five other people were last in line and the convention organizers wanted to wrap things up in a hurry. He spoke right up to one of the staff, and told them that every last person in the line was going to get a turn. I'll never forget that kind act. Thanks, Jimmy! Rest well, Friend...
  4. I'm currently searching for them now. When I do find one, I'll be sure to get it posted here.
  5. I have never dealt with him personally, but judging from most of his posts, he seemed rather set in his ways. When someone has that type of an attitude, I just usually steer clear of them. I do however understand your feelings about him, Maverick. It's not right to treat others on this forum as he did. Voted for damned shame he couldn't chill....
  6. Good Morning... 0630 hrs CDT. Looks like a good start for 4th of July weekend in Iowa... Good day to you all!
  7. Maybe I will have no facial scars in the mirror universe. That was one thing I always noticed in both series' episodes.... What I'd be doing there? Hmm, maybe I'd be commanding my own ship. I would like it if my other self were more daring. Kinda make up for all the fun I missed in this one.

I've never seen an offer made like this one before, Elderbear... Gotta say that's one heck of an idea.

It's best to keep it private... We need to set an example for all members, so all will feel obligated to do the right thing. I for one sure didn't join up to antagonize any other member of this site...
  10. there was one that I had seen taken out at 80 mph. and by a cop cruiser of all things (ford crown victoria)... Must be the mad rush to the donut shop...
  11. I picked Pertwee for the simple fact that was the first Doctor I was ever introduced to.
  12. It was what I had hoped for, and then some... You just can't have a good episode without a confrontation involving Daleks... I know I'll be pacing the floor in anticipation of the next episode. Can't wait to see the who the 'voice' belongs to either, although I have a sneaking suspicion as to whom it is already. UNTIL NEXT WEEK!
  13. I've been using a Lite-On SOHW-812S for the past year along with Maxell DVD-R and +R media. I have yet to experience a 'coaster' situation and have completed burning my 170th DVD using Nero Ultra Edition.
  14. My guess was that it's Davros, but if it's the Ep6 Dalek that adds some interesting loops. Imagine Rose saves the last Dalek. That Dalek uses an inbuilt transmat instead of a self-destruct, finds itself a hiding place and begins rebuilding the dalek fleet with itself as supreme dalek. Remember, all Dalek DNA would have to come from the original Dalek, who was contaminated by Rose's DNA - could explain why they didn't just exterminate her when they realised she was no use in getting the doctor to comply - or even lock her up...? "FANTASTIC" hardly scratches the surface on this episode. I also came to the same conclusion as you and will be waiting anxiously until the next one is released. I'm glad the beeb has made another season of this SUPERB series. P.S. Don't let the avatar tell you otherwise, but I'm also a fan of the Doctor as well.... and have been since the late seventies when I could watch it on our local public television station (oh, those were the days...)
  15. Prometheus..... Multiple attack vectors in one streamlined ship.
  16. Yes, I was really looking forward to a speech as well. They could have at least done something poignant in that regard.
  17. I guess I read into it differently then others, but here's my take on it. Terra Prime: We all know the Federation was founded in Archer's time, that is a given. It was nice however, to see certain elements brought together to show mankind's fear of reaching out to other species, and the struggles to overcome that fear. These are the Voyages: Again, certain elements towards the development of the Federation, but in this one, there was something that helped me to realize why Trek will NEVER fade into nothingness. The sense of loyalty that Riker found in Trip was what he needed to come forward and tell Picard about the experiment being conducted on the Pegasus...(nicely tied in, even if I do say so myself). That has always been the biggest selling point of Trek that I've admired. The crews of all the series had a family-like bond that showed me all obstacles can be overcome when they work together. I believe that was one of Gene's guiding principles in producing Trek to begin with. Hopefully that sense of family will grow with time, until it blankets the world and then the cosmos. That, and we get another series that won't be cut down in it's prime, like this one was... Here's hoping...
  18. Yes, just noticed that as well. I'll keep good thoughts that everything goes well...
  19. Nite has done a tremendous service to all by providing this tracker and forum, as evidenced by the enormous amount of users this site has attracted. I, for one will stand behind any decision he makes, especially if it is one for self-preservation. If it had not been for his efforts, I would have never been able to enjoy Enterprise... And to know there were many more people that had an interest in it as well. 'Nuff said, starting to sound like a funeral ALL HAIL NITESHDW!
  20. I read somewhere that if you reached warp 10, that you would end up occupying all points in space/time at once. Not for sure if i got it from the net or not, but I did read about it. If anyone can elaborate further, please do so...
  21. How 'bout: (2)AR-15s, AR-10, Glock Model 21, 22, and 27, Colt 1991A1, 1911 and the new Ruger revolver in .480? Will that be enough to get started??? Or maybe I should bring the entire arsenal.... I just never had the time available to learn anything in martial arts. Wish I could turn back the clock and do it over again.
  22. Excellent site Von! Glad you posted the info on this....
  23. First ever for me was a 300 baud modem on a Commodore 64. Used it to run ShadowOps BBS... Ahh, that was the good old days.
  24. Warp core explosion for me... I always seem to have one heck of a time misplacing tools. Just imagine me dropping a phase inducer into the core itself by accident. Not a real thrilling end, but I've always known that I'd go out with a BANG!
  25. I would suggest a little moderation towards this topic to prevent flame wars from erupting out of control..... My two cents... People make choices, and they are concious ones at that. I have learned to accept those choices in hopes that others learn to accept mine. I have a few friends that choose to live a gay or lesbian lifestyle, and we have learned to get along splendidly since we accept each others choices. It should only be that simple. I don't want to spend the rest of my life hating others because they choose differently than I. Life is short, learn to get along or you will have wasted a perfectly good life on nothing but hate...
