Ruk Posted August 5, 2005 Share Posted August 5, 2005 Depends on the nature of the players. I don't know you folks very well yet, so I'm not certain how you react. I always run self made campaigns in my own game world (which I've developed and tweaked off and on again since the late 70's). My style is usually very dark with complicated plotlines and lots of backstory. Its geared more toward the thinking and plotting sort of gamer. But if people here are more inclined toward hack and slash that just won't work as well and I'd rather be a player. Game system wise, I like AD&D (I grew up on 1st edition and know it best) or ICE. I'm rather fond of the whole Vampire: Masquerade and associated WoD settings as well though. Personally though I'd like to be a player first in a Rokugan game. Never played that before and I'd like to experience it. That will let me get to know people here before I take the leap into running a different campaign later.
