RIAA sues minor, again

It's because there IS more than one media company, and so it isn't legally a monopoly. Monopoly laws really don't work that well when all the 'competitors' decide to back each other for mutual profit. There are legally enough different entities for 'competition', but the big problem is that instead of competing, they collaborate for mutual profit. They all sell different things, so it can't be said any one of them dominates, and legally it isn't limiting choice (none of them overlap in anything but medium... content is different between them), so monopoly laws are useless... one could -technically- choose to only buy from one of them and deprive the rest of business, so 'competition' is still technically there...-_-'

The problem is they all do the same sort of things and charge the same prices, so people on average buy from all of them equally.

The authorities will do this to people who are easy to punish. Those who are real criminals are hard to catch because it means that the police will actually have to work for once. Military people work even less than McDonald's workers on a quiet night.

I like your little pic there. Lenin was much better than Stalin or the Czar, if only he had lived longer.

Corporations aka "Ferangis"...lol, but yea this is just a complete publicity stunt to show people that they will prosecute for "pirated" movies/music/games etc. But they keep going at it the wrong way, and this is a definate example. Come on shes 14!!! What are they going to do sapina her piggy bank???

As for corporations, there nuttin but money grabbin, tax exempt, sesspools that exist in our modern day lives. Anything, and i mean anything pretty much has a corporation pimpin there stuff out so that the consumer will buy it.
