European Court of Justice rules that: No personal information about passengers to the US is to be handed over to the US authorities.

 

Thus nullifying a previous agreement between the US and EU (signed by the Commission).

 

This also decreases the chances of the US getting there hands on telecommunication data retention soon obligatory in the EU.

 

Finally some good news. :)

 

At least the Judges are still clean...

It's rediculous if you think about it... The European parliament going to the European court against the European commission... Ah wel, at least it turned out right in the end (at least so far, it can still be reversed).
