Antilles
Isnt this the sort of thing that nearly buried Nites in the first place. Its not 'The Big 'T' but its still filesharing. I feel some wrist slapping coming on!
Amnot Borg
There was a live webcast of the event on MT&R's website. Doesn't seem to be shared now. This is probably a violation of the new rules.
Ashoka1
Sure. You guys are in a different situation than other forums. So do what you will. I was just going to say... I don't think MTR is using this vid as a revenue generator...there are no ads in it. They probably don't have the means to serve the files to the public, so they webcast it. I don't think they'd give a rats ass if TRH uploaded it somewhere. GalacticaStation (the rats referred to in the above post) have interview vids from more prominent sources on their server (Maxim, NBC, SciFi, etc.). See: http://www.galacticastation.com/Galactica%20Station/Multimedia/multimedia.html (Some of them provided to them by myself)
Ashoka1
JUST TO CLARIFY A FEW THINGS... 1) While we all know Asf is associated with streaming... I'D LIKE TO MAKE CLEAR THAT THIS IS A STAND-ALONE VID. No internet needed. Hence...111 MB file size. If it was a playlist file, it would be 2kb. 2) This is the actual video file from the source. Not a cheesy screen-capture. So it's native format is ASF. (And no, it's not a web-file. It's a straight-up vid!) 3) While converting to Xvid may make some people feel better, it doesn't change the video quality. I converted to Xvid and saw no difference. 4) The original (asf) picture is good quality itself: 5) If you don't like the video size, use MediaPlayer Classic. Go to pan/scan and it'll resize the vid for u.
slug
Excellent, great find there, this is the sort of thing we need to keep this place interesting. Edit) Mary McDonnel seems a little tanked, bless her little cotton socks.
