I didn't think Richard Dean Anderson was suited for the role and I was hoping that it would die a quick death so it didn't tarnish the memory of the movie. I also thought Carter was annoying and at the time felt she was the typical "token girl" character that was there to be all "rah rah" for women's rights and all that. TFMF Posted December 17, 2006 Share Posted December 17, 2006 I think every series takes a few episodes to get into. When i first watched this episode i thought it was ok. The cliffhanger type ending was great and i'd guess that kept a lot of people going untill the next episode. I also found Carter quite annoying at first but that kind of wore off by the next episode.
