kyran
GTU is currently undergoing a re-design in an effort to resolve a dispute with the MPA. The MPA claims that all 'unlicensed' tablature is ILLEGAL and has threatened GTU and its ISP for hosting such 'unlicensed' tablature. Since the tabbers/teachers here likely do not seek any 'license to tab' (yes, the MPA is serious :P) for how he or she plays a song, many of the tabs here are 'unlicensed' and allegedly ILLEGAL. I been using this website for years to learn how to kill songs what are they gonna tax next?
GorunNova
Next, they'll zap midi and mod covers for songs... then remixes, then samplers, and finally lobby government for 'microphones everywhere' legislature so they can zap those evil, evil people who hum songs without permission. *thinks the whole recording / movie industry thing was utterly insane three or four steps back, and exploiting bastards long before the lawsuits started happening...*
