I completely agree with Tenebrae, Threads was and always will be the end of the series in my mind. It brought so many things to closure and did it in such a nice way. There was no way the writers could beat the ending of threads with them fishing. Moebius was a good episode, and they put it at then end simply because they wanted to "go full circle" and reference the movie and the last episode (at that time) of the show.

While it would have been sad to see SG-1 end with season 8, it might have been better. the problem with ending with Threads is that it left no room for the movies. the movies are going to happen quickly because things have been left hanging with the Ori. and the fans want to see that resolved.

If they would have used the original costumes and sound effects from the movie instead of wasting money on rubber suits, they could have spent more on the stories. Staff weapons from the movie sounded like the god of thunder after spritzing his throat with roach killer.

As for them not having kids, he would eat them out of a ship, or they would eat him. Also when they went back in time, the kid would have been destroyed, never been born, same way they didn't remember what happened except for T since he was protected. Besides, kids don't work in shows like this. Can't stand them. Not mature enough to be scifi actors, esp when keeping the secret of the stargate and the klingon trash that comes through it is required.

They wasted time with that reverse time c##p. They could have simply asgard beamed the "ori destructo beam" around the other side of the ship or sent it in another direction, and then had time to add more the the story.

Shake that laffy jaffy
