  • 1 month later...

The list has been updated. Several things to note:

- I didn't realise it, but Smallville has actually already resumed

- I've fixed the Terminator SCC listings, so they should be accurate again

- I've simply archived the January listings, but I hadn't updated it with the new information. All of February *should be accurate*

- I'm still taking suggestions for new shows, though I won't add reruns at the moment.

Star trek XI  has moved to may

Is there a reason given for this? Maybe someone on the production team read my thoughts and they are making the film better just for me  ;D I guess it would take around three months to re-do those Enterprise ship building scenes.

Maybe the fact the screen writer's guild just stopped a 100+ day strike?

That's caused pretty much everything that wasn't written to be shifted around - I believe I read there was fear of it clashing with other titles, so they moved it to May to give it a better chance.

I never realised screen writers were so important. Its seams producers and production teams cannot even go to the toilet with out writers being there to hold their hands and flush for them.

Sorry for the sarcasm but I feel a lot of failures at present are being wrongly placed on writers. I think producers are actualy welcoming the break to rethink where exactly their shows/films are going.

Maybe the idea is to make writers unpopular with fans? This excuse is certainly becoming tiresome and now the strike is over they need to stop looking back into the past and concentrate on making their projects great.

I think there options were limited when they didn't have writers to do things... Hollywood didn't exactly grind to a halt but it's pretty hard to progress when you don't have anyone to draft new scripts etc.

And I don't think this was some kind of plot - you're rather overly keen on the conspiracy angle - to make fans dislike writers... I think that most people were on the side of writers, who are very much at the thin end of the wedge in Hollywood (very much the opposite of theatre). Hollywood likes to plead poverty to people it employees (minus the A-listers), then brags record profits to Wall Street...
