USWhoFan
So what do you think? After seeing Teal'c and Ronin going at it in Episode 17 "Midway", who would've won that sparing session, or an actual fight, if Carter wouldn't have broken it up? TetsuoShima
LOL, YOU STOLE MY POLL!!! :o (j/k) ;) --- My money is on Teal'c. Somehow I always feel like Ronon is not an intelligent fighter, while Teal'c does seem to be one, plus he's got the strength, so he's bound to win. Ronon does have his age as an advantage, I'd guess Ronon would be in his early 30's? And Teal'c 's human equivalent age would probably be in his late 40's? Still, I'm going for Teal'c. :)
maybrick
I believe that had the scenario been played out to the fullest, they would have ultimately had Teal'c win, because of his history with the series. 11 years versus 3? No contest. This is meant as no slant towards Ronin, but he can afford to be taken down a notch or 7 and Teal'c is just the Jaffa to do it. To geek it up just a notch further: in AD&D terms, Teal'c would be an 18th or 19th level fighter, whereas Ronin would be (at best) 15th. Ronin is certainly a formidable opponent, but Teal'c has the advantage of several DECADES of experience behind him.
