Um, as an Australian I agree the situation is pretty messed up, but as for the whole country stolen from it's native population and therefore all Australians are racists comments, so are most so-called western countries if you want to look at it that way. As I recall the same could be said for the United States and many other countries and as far as I'm aware the American government has never apologised for the treatment of the Native Indian population nor for that matter what was done to the African - American population either. And while I don't even remotely condone what is going on in Sydney, you may actually want to look at the cause of whats going on there, before the infamous SMS, gangs of people running around terrorising and assaulting poeple whatever race they are isn't a good thing and while it was a stupid thing to do the SMS was in response to another in a long series of events that have taken place in the area.
