  1. I would say Clockwork Orange, but thats obvious. So how about "Harold and Maude".
  2. I never got into Blakes 7 or Red Dwarf, I love Doctor Who, but thats only cause it was accessible via PBS when I was younger. I never even took advantage of the downloads when they were available, just not my thing. Space 1999 to me as with Buck Rogers always seemed as though it were set in some kind of disco universe. Thats about the only thing that really sticks out to me about Space: the catchy theme song that you could dance to. I was always waiting to see if Travolta was gonna appear. I can't help but think that if Roddenberry would've went for Star Trek: Phase Two the series instead of The Motion Picture thats what it would've looked like. Everyone running around in god awful pant suits. They should leave Space 1999 right where it is, a fond albeit bizarre memorie. I would like to see Buck Rogers on the other hand or the Six Million Dollar Man.
  3. Irwin was an iconic figure of my generation and will be missed severely. It truely wasn't his time to go.
  4. The cylon in the suit definetly refers to both the 6 and 8 as war heroes, I remember that from the previous ep. where the two killed that other female Cylon and helped save Starbucks botfriend. As for the other comment made by Al, maybe the Cylons got mad at the fact thecolonials tossed him out the airlock, if indeed they even did or even knew about it. One thing is clear: The 6 and 8 models are in love so to speak with Baltar and the chief, I think were going to see that become a major factor that led the Cylons to pursue the fleet. What I want to happen is for a resistance to spring up and the colonials realizing the error of their ways and putting President Roslyn back in power, or something like that. Should all be very interesting.
  5. I really don't think the Cylons knew all along where the colonists had gone, as for everything else: I am stumped. The idea of taking the show one year into the future is a total departure from anything I've ever seen in sci-fi, hence my reasoning behind the idea of a dream sequence. Maybe these Cylons are different from all the rest, like a resistence faction, and they are going to help the colonists. i really didn't hear them threaten the new colony, not directly?Maybe Baltar was jumping the gun by surrendering, maybe thats not what they wanted, we know that the #6 is in love with Baltar, so I really don't know. How the heck would galactica and Pegasus be able to return and defend the new colony? They can't. SO WHATS GOING ON?
  6. What I don't understand is that when they had the priest, he said that the Cylons realized the error of their ways and had made a mistake, so why would the Cylons still be pursuing the fleet? I think they alluded to the fact that the Cylons want to take care of the humans like their children or something, kinda like in I, Robot. It still doesn't make sense to me. In my opinion: DREAM SEQUENCE all the way. I think that Roslyn, or someone is having a dream about what is going to happen, and when the season reconvenes they are going to wake up. I just can't help but wonder: How the hell are they going to get out of this one? Maybe Galactica will find the ship of lights and Count Iblis from the original series?
  7. Scary isn't it? Nite should close down the sign ups for now.
  8. Kirk I consider more of a ladies man, Riker had the convenience of Troi though, and was definetly more of a gentleman.
  9. Yes but "Never Say Never Again" Isn't really in the canon of Bond movies because it wasn't produced by Albert R. Broccoli, hence it technically is not a true James Bond movie. And Connery was never in a remake "The Man With the Golden Gun" no such movie exists except the original with Roger Moore
  10. Wait and see, Brosnan said that he might do another one if asked. It be like him pulling a Sean Connery after OHMSS. I personally have never seen Daniel Craig in anything before that I can think of, but if the public doesn't receive him well look for Brosnan's return. I for one don't like change in my characters, I would have liked to have seen Pierce in at least a couple more. Hell why not bring Connery back, and set a story in the future where Bond has to come out of retirement.
  11. I liked Woody Allen as Jimmy Bond. As far as my fav. I have to say that it's a tie between, "the man With the Golden Gun" and "Diamonds are Forever". I love them all, but these two stand out in my mind of ones that I can watch over and over. Have to say I loved Britt Eklund and Christopher Lee. I think "Diamonds" really portrayed Connery's Bond as dark and sexist, but that is Bond. I also have to give Lazenby props, "Majesty" was a pretty cool Bond flick. Dalton sucks so I can say nothing of his pathetic attempt. Besides we all know that if it wasn't for Remington Steele, Dalton's bond movies would have been Brosnan's anyway.
  12. I have a torrent on here called 2001: A Pink Floyd Odyssey, it's the last half of 2001: A Space Odyssey synch up with Pink Floyds "Echoes" it is one of the coolest things I've ever seen or heard fused together. After watching, you are forced to come to the realization that they both synch up perfectly, it is an awesome experience. I highly recommend it. I have the Oz thing too if anyone wants it. here's the link to my torrent: http://www.niteshdw.com/torrents-details.php?id=1837 There is a webring dedicated to the synching up of movies , in th Dark side of Oz website it gives you a list of exactly how many things synch up in the movie. http://www.crickrock.com/cgi-bin/webring/list.pl?ringid=syncring;siteid=synchome
  13. As far as bad sci-fi goes I think Any Buck Rogers and Space 1999 episodes meet this criteria. I do like them, but they all have 1 thing in common and that is that they both should have had a mirror ball swinging in the background. Buck should have been called Buck Rogers; Disco Warrior in the 24th century, and Space 1999, well i think the theme song says it all; its groovy and you can dance to it.
