  1. I'm not sure why Sarah-Jane Smith isn't on there. I could have sworn I put it in. Not sure what's going on there.
  2. I can't seem to vote. Anyhoo, I think that the 2 Universes are completely different.
  3. wow it's been a while since i've been to this topic - well anyway - could the daleks survive a torpedo hit from a borg vessel cause if not then the Daleks are far from invincible Edit: really does look like the votes for this poll are evening out With the Daleks staying just ahead.
  4. The old series' were enjoyable, but the new series is so different to anything else out there and is now my favourite Sci-fi show at the moment, due in part to the new series of Doctor Who being rather disappointing. An amazing series that I hope won't end anytime soon.
  5. Getting ahead of yourself hear aren't you Pella? Cyberman has bearly started and is completely different ot Dalek Empire, even though it's the same writer, director and some of the cast are the same.
  6. I too loved Arrangements for War, but I was looking forward to Thicker Than Water and it certainly delivered. I also thought that the ending was a nice touch although I had already thought Hex was tommy. All in all, a great story, brilliantly directed and produced, although perhaps not as good as Arrangements for War. As for Live 34, it was a bit monotonous, but it was presented in a new way and was enjoyable and interesting from start to finish.
  7. The Cylons are from a Universe that doesn't even use lasers, never mind tractor beams, photon torpedoes, etc...
  8. Even if the US scales down it's military, if it stays in it's own borders then it's military is more than strong enough to tackle any attack from a foriegn power. In reguard to terrorists, well you cannot fight them with force. Especially after you've shown the world that terrorism works.
  9. I think that this confrontation was Inevitable with the Admiral outranking Odama. The way the producers have created an environment that makes the audience feel the emotions of the characters is excellent and the cliff-hanger is enough to get anyone to want January to come faster. Also, this episode generated the kind of tension and excitement, thus far only seen in Cylon episodes and yet (aside from the prisoners), the Cylons never even made an appearance. An excellent episode.

  11. They exist but not with infinite possibilities
  12. I'd love to be a Timelord. It should be available, but hey, that's life.
  13. The book probably referred to the same thing, so he's only done it once.
  14. The Revolution not anly looks better, but won't rely on looks and graphics alone. It'll offer a new way to play games, be wireless out of the box and you can download past classics like Goldeneye and Mario64. That's why I'm looking forward to it.
  15. Actually, the Doctor has himself refered to the Daleks as the most ruthless and advance lifeforms in the Universe. No-one else managed to wipe out the the Time Lords and Gallifrey (except the Doctor - twice). The Doctor wipe out Gallifrey?
  16. The Egg came first, because of the Darwin theory of evolution. A creature does evolve itself, it's offspring are the evolved ones and so the egg must have come first from the unevolved creature to be the first chicken.
  17. I understand where the question is coming from. Why have a collective mind and then have a deciding one? If the BORG are one mind, then why do they need another to make the decisions? They don't need a concience, which is the only thing we have outside our brains to help us with decisions. However, I believe that if the BORG were real, the Queen would be there to solve the problem of single mindedness. This is probably not the case, as it is likely she is actually there so that the enemy of the Federation can have a character with... well character and personality to interact with the captain of enterprise and help explain the BORG plans to the audience.
  18. Actually, the Doctor has himself refered to the Daleks as the most ruthless and advance lifeforms in the Universe.
  19. Microsoft is digging a large hole for itself here and I think that Vista will be the only OS Microsoft build this technology into. The only people this is going to affect are normal everyday people who backup their media for legitimate purposes. Hackers and copiers will always find a way to do their work. For every security system companies invent, there will be a thousand ways to hack it.
