  1. My "offical program guide" is very dogeared. It only covers sesons 1-26 though. You can proboly get it from amazon.
  2. Everyone in my doctor who group thought it was pretty good and scary. These people have been doctor who fans since the seventies. It definitly wasn't the worst of the season. I liked it better than New Earth, Tooth and Claw, Idiot's Lantern. I'm supprised at it's reaction on this forum. ..then I remember, this is a star trek site.
  3. I thought it be hard to follow Eccleston (this is the correct spelling by the way), but Tennant has done a, shall we say, beautiful job!
  4. Took me a while to figure out why they used a ford galaxy
  5. I agree, JNT was really campy, but at least he wasn't afraid to go to alien planits. I think RDT is a good producer and his scripts are getting better. If you look at JNT era, you also see that it was the beginning of the shows graduale loss in popularity. By contrast the new doctor who is still increasing in popularity. My only complaint is the new doctor who is way to constrained.
  6. Speculation: He goes back in time and is reborn as the Other, a being who helped Rassilon and Omega. Susan is really the grand daughter of The Other, and recognises the Other in the Doctor. The Other is then reborn as the Doctor.
  7. Inferno is one of my favorates, probobly my favorate Pertwee.
  8. RTD's scripts are getting better for series two don't you think?

    Dr Who 2006

You guys didn't hear? K9 gets his own show.
  10. You must be thinking about the Valeyard.
  11. I think RTD is a good producer, but a mediocre writter, and I'm basing that on the episodes I liked. When I first watched the season I really didn't pay attention to the writters. In the old who the producer rarely had anything to do with the actual writting, which gave the program a wider scope I think.
  12. The only one I could part with is Paul McGann.
  13. I don't really think it's going to have much to do with eastenders plot wise. From what is described in may be nothing more than a few seconds.
  14. The anouncment is in the the new issue of DWM. I think it's April 15th. UPDATE: Yah, it's offical. It's on April 15th 7:00pm GMT. Front page of Outpost Gallifrey.
  15. I don't remember that. I think your remembering wrong, but if you remember what episode it was from let me know.
  16. What is being shown on the Sci-Fi Channel is actually last season which is being shown for the first time in the U.S. (Technically the 27th season) There are 13 episodes in that season. Then there was a special episode on Christmas which is being packaged with the second season. The new second (28th) season starts in the U.K. in April. The Sci-Fi has an option to pick it up after they see how the 2005 season will do, so if your new to doctor who and want to keep seeing it get your friends to watch it on Sci-Fi so we can maybe keep getting them in the U.S.
  17. But it was clear that it was not his real name. I think Patrick Troughten also used the alias once or twice. It is never mentioned what his given name might be, when pressed he is just "The Doctor" nothing else. Other Timelords never call him anything else, except the one I think named Drax in The Armegedon Factor which instisted the doctors nickname in school was "feet" or something. I never could understand that.
  18. Forgive my ignorance, but what forum are you talking about, can you give a URL?
  19. The Tommorow People was on Nickalodian in the 80's.
  20. Limitless possibilities. Every time the show got tired they could add some new element to it easily and still be inside the established framework. So many different people contributed so many different ideas that it's bound to appeal to a wide range of people. The Universe of Doctor Who is just so huge.
  21. The latest gossip says in April. Still nothing official. There's alot of disscussion about it in the Outpost Gallifrey forum, and alot of people a saying April 15th. They're baseing this on some morning show in england that the new series would start in April and that's about the only concreate thing I've found. On another show they said May, but I'm hoping thats a mistake. Anyway, it's not looking like March anymore. So anyway, your guess is as good as anyone's.
  22. Patrick Stewart is way to conservitive.
  23. From looking at the BBC website, they don't seem to think it's neccesary to tell you their schedule more than a week in advance. They have set relese dates for DVD Series 2 volumes 1 and 2. You can already preorder them on Amazon uk.
