I lost like 60 GB of stuff, back in the day when that was a lot. so i went out and bought a hotswap rack. now i got like 4 ATA drives running on the outside and 3 running on the inside. HDDs are dirt cheap these days. well PATA anyways. (4x200 GB!!!!). I've relized that it's a much cheaper solution than raid. But you do have to remeber to back up stuff, or find a good scheduler that'll to it. oh btw, i got the hotswap rack from newegg.com, now that's a sweet site

It costs like $ 4 million to produce an episode, but they usually end up making like any where from $5 mill to $20 mill in first showing and then another $2-10 through reruns and/or syndication. So once enterprise starts it keeps on rolling. The problem is the ball has been stopped by paramount, so advertizers are pulling out and they're loosing profit per episode. Its a downward spiral. But if every fan that watched enterprise at the lowest ratings (2.5 million people for "Babel One") were to donate $10 we would have enough to start the show up and keep it going for at least half a season, even if there was no return to us and paramount kept the usual 10-35% slice of revenue as profits. After all that's how tv works; viewer counts as one cent and if 3 million people watch it, adverts gotta pay 30,000 for like a 10 sec advert

I'm keeping this post here so that everyone can see the support that fans have for enterprise. Nite don't move this thread. pinning it would be even better. If it gets moved to the enterprise section not that many people are going to see it. I know i wouldn't, i'm too lazy. and so are a lot of other people.
