Up here in Canada we hear all of this but the major networks and newspapers only very infrequently report the legal issues as they pertain to this country. This being the case I thought I'd make it clear to my fellow Canucks that pirating is absolutely legal here provided its noy for profit. The major media companies forced a Bill throiugh some time after the invention or recordable audio and video tapes that enabled them to collect a small surcharge on the sale of each tape. This was extended to cd-roms and Hard-drives later on. This sounds bad but as a result when those same companies attempted to go after downloaders etc. the courts ruled that they had already been paid for the use of their matials in the form of the surcharge.

It may be a stretch but it seems to me that if one were an american and one were to buy their hard-drive from a canadian company one would have paid for the rights to nearly anything they want to download. The surcharge btw is somewhere in the range of a few cents per hundred dollars. That's what I call a bargain :)

7 of 9 looks like a reverse centaur. That said wtf is with t' pol? She is obviously the hottest thing going trek-wise but how can we be expected to believe that pragmatic, logical Vulcans could ever evolve that spectacular rack!? Humans have a unique and insanely immoderate boob to body mass ratio when compared to all other mammals and I suspect that the reason for this is completely discrete from our rationality. Hell we even define those species with whom we are most closely related by breasts (Mammals, Mamory gland). We love tits but logically you'd think Vulcans would be a little more pragmatically built.

I have played and finished all Blizzard games with the exception of WoW. Without exception they have been addictive, well put together games, with the exception of Valve I don't think anyone can claim the kind of consistant quality that Blizzard can. BUT who really cares if they take 5 years or tenfor that matter. If you are dying of anticipation for an fps there are plenty of incredible titles available already. Even if Blizzard takes 25 years to release Ghost in all liklihood it will be a game that sets a new standard in its genre and that's what really matters.All this fan-boy hype is just the product of too many people with too much time. Btw if you haven't played the F.E.A.R. demo yet download it now it'll make you forget all about Ghost and Duke nukem forever:)

I think part of the problem with star trek in recent years has been a lack of film support for the last three television series. I would love to see a movie making use of the cast of Voyager or Enterprise (DS9 ended a little too conclusively). The films bring the series to an audience who wouldn't necessarily watch the tv shows as there is still a considerable nerd stigma attached to such that doesn't exist in film science fiction. Besides when the android has very visably aged its way past time to pack it in, old people no more belong in action movies than they do in porn. ;)

Dude! Remember that sniper rifle from that ds9 episode with the psyco vulcan that teleports the bullet. That thing was way cooler than any energy weopon.
