If it has commercials in it I'm not gonna watch it. If I have to pay for it, I'm not gonna watch it. Unless they figure something out that fits those conditions they can take a hike. Gaarrr!!! Seeing how every one pays for internet access maybe what the governments should do is just install an internet access tax that subsadises(how ever you spell it) the losses for the people who make music/TVepz/Movies, but I'm sure thats been argued already.

heh, im not too surprised about this...I dont watch TV and I rarley read the news papers, so this is the first I've heard of this, but like I said, not too surprising. I think the Americans should nuke themselves...seems like the best course of action in my opinion. The rest of the world would be completely shocked that Public enemy number 1 has just disapeared. Every one just looking around thinking "well now what", "now who do we hate?" and then the obviouse answere would be...shit we are all a bunch of stupid god fearing rednecks with such a hard on for destruction we couldn't think strait....and then every one would just throw away their weapons and live in peace for a million years......yeah sure....whatever...stupid people

I'm sure the nanobots could simply fix the morphogenic matrix of the changling into what ever it wanted just like the founders did to Oto that one time, then the borg could do what ever they wanted to the changeling after that, however he would no longer be considered a changeling. Besides that tho, what kinda changeling would ever be captured by the borg? Changelings are gods remember they would just turn into a nanobot and crawl into those stupid borg types and kick ass on their internal cuircutry...booo yaazzz

I was thinking after I posted my rant about downloading and I started to wounder towards the idea of media sencorship and television in general. My train of thought went like this. The American Government uses television as a means of propaganda to tell the people of the world and more importantly the American people, how to feel towards and what to think about certain political situations. Example: The war in Iraq or terrorism (now this is debatable, but I would think that any one not living in the US, and even people living in the US would agree with this). For the most part the government uses the NEWS to get this message accross and not so much the TV episodes that the networks play inbetween. However it is these TV episodes that most people watch; I have no statistics proving this point however I would think that because the news is not on 24/7 and that in fact there is other shows playing most of the time it would suggest that most people watch the TV shows being played inbetween the news the most. So it is these shows that would bring in the most money for the TV Networks and thus keep the networks running so that the government can continue spreading propaganda thru the news. With that said you can now say that TV episodes are very important to the American government. Now lets say that people stop watching TV and start downloading their TV episodes online. What will happen to the TV networks? Their rating will go down, their advertisers will stop spending as much money on them and the TV networks will eventually (and i do mean eventually) fall. Also anouther negative side affect for the government is that the people are now online learning how to look up information by themselfs and getting better and better at it every day. They will find new points of view, new factual - non sencored information, and they will start to question the government more and more. What will happen after that I will leave to the imagination, I'm not one to create possibilities simply one to point them out. cheers...and mind the spelling, it can hurt sometimes.

Stop downloading?!? The hell. Why would I stop downloading? Just because some corperation wants to make more money by draining my wallet on overprised merchandise? Lets put this into perspective...Problems of the world: Americans killing people in Iraq, Iraqies killing people in Iraq, religions supressing peoples: thoughts, knowledge, freedomes. Media sensoring information based on political reasons. Earths non renewable energy sources drying up. Billions and Billions of dollars being waisted on killing people around the world. Corperations killing the planet / people / animals / my wallet. Corperations ripping off their own employees and their consumers so that their upper managment and CEO's can become filthy stinking rich while the guys at the bottom slave away night and day just to get by. Racial problems around the world....The list goes on and on and on. Now I work my ass off just to pay the bills, put food in my stomach and still manage to have a few bucks kicking around so that I can relax every now and then with a nice cold one by myside and these assh*les are so conserned with making an extra 5% by spending 1% to find the guys that are stealing their 6% that they dont care that the people that are so called stealing this 6% are real people, not criminals, usually underage kids that cant afford to pay for their overprised "merchandise" in the first place. If I was rich and spending hundreds of dollars a week on media was possible, then yeah I would spend it, but I cant, so I wont. And if downloading some movies and music to listen to on my free time is such a crime, than this world is in even more trouble then just the few problems listed above.
