  1. VCD's screw up really easily - quality is nowhere near that of VHS, let along SVHS. Stear clear as they are so easy to kock off.
  2. TNG back in the mid 80's is what sparked the current Trek phase for most people - it was new, different and exciting. Now im not suggesting that DS9 and Voyager werent at times 'new, different and exciting' BUT they were basically a re-hash of the TNG show... with all things people (mass audience not just hardcore fans) get bored over time, and im afraid that this is probably what happened with 'Enterprise' and the current Trek phase. It just got 'old. Ive said this in the past and I stand by it, to re-launch trek they are going to have to do something different -as different as TNG was from TOS! It happens to most shows- the good & and the bad ones.
  3. This forum does not support Torrents OR anything connected to Torrents.
  4. Much MUCH worse things to do in this world than keep some DVD's that your didnt request. :p
  5. They will probably be very good knocked off copies anyway - some amazingly good copies come outta asia.
  6. Maybe he's simply slower than your average shuttlecraft?
  7. oooh go on then! Chrisjonestkd@googlemail.com
  8. Sorry whats this then?? *looks puzzled.
  9. ^^^^^^ He's right ;-) At last some sense! :-P
  10. lol you lot are too soft :-P Keep it I say, they should learn to pay attention to cancelled orders - serves them right if they were pissy with you.
  11. Not sure what the distribution will be like, I guess I will know once the producers tell me in a few months.
  12. Naw bugger this! This person will be making miles more than 100% mark up on each sale, and im sorry but if they chose to send it you for free that is NOT your fault! Look at it like this, you didnt ask for it .. they chose to send it.... not your problem! They wont ask for it back, not with the volume of send outs they will be dealing with via Ebay and other sources.
  13. Theres no release date as of yet, but these things are never set in stone. Heres another project I worked on - www.soulsearchermovie.com

  15. If it were me and this was happening to my GF, I would get her to agree to a meet up via email then go meet him myself for a little one to one chat ;-) ..thats just me though.
  16. Those Temporal disturbances are a bitch ya know... :-P
  17. Ok people - I was watching a few ep's of TNG last week... although of course the computer terminals are nothing more than set pieces (Father Christmas aint real either ;-) ) but at times it is quite amusing seeing actors randomly smacking the control panels in an attempt to look like they know what they are doing.. .. Anyone have some prime examples to hand? :p
  18. lol - more like day dreaming. Seriously though, dont get your hopes up. I heard he took part in a fan film...
  19. Dont be daft, you cant expect a 70 year old fella to work a primetime TV series like Trek, it would simply be too much. If Mr Stewart is told old to play Jean-Luc (his own words), we cant expect Mr Takei to put in silly hours (and we are talking a LOT) filming 5 years of trek. Besides you said 'ideas' not 'dreams'. ;)
  20. Try to be realistic - thats simply not gonan happen, George is just too old to take onboard a primetime TV show.
  21. Trek is going to have to re-invent itself if it has any chances of being successful again. When TNG launched in the 80's it captured a whole new audience for one reason, it was different - new. Any new series developed has to reach out to a new audience, not just re-hash old stories from previous series.
  22. Let it have the break its having.... didnt do it any harm in the 70's/80's. ;)
  23. Slightly OT - But wouldnt it have been cool to see Data in command more often. He would kick ass as a Starship Captain! Still think it was wrong to kill him off in Nemesis. I understand the issues with Brent getting on a little, but im sure the 'Trek Lords' would have been able to think up a reason for this - maybe an 'aging chip' hehe :-P Someone above talked about Geordie wearing Red - Yes he did, but only in the early stages of the show when he was manning the Con. As soon as he was promoted to Chief engineer he switched to Yellow... matched his Visor more :-P
