viper point: they could make Mk 7 all along,but i think its cos they didn't have the resources,until pegasus came along with a whole bag of spare parts it stripped from its civy fleet. in battle,Mk2 seem to move jus as well Mk7...shoot jus as fast(unless some one is crazy enuff to count how much ammo is delepted per frame over,say 10 frames?)...its jus looks way cooler and sleek to me.but i still like the Mk2...with a bit mroe streamlining.have we seen any other variants? Mk3? Mk4? Mk5? ---- BSg's season isnt to one year per season,i saw somehwre it more like 6-8 mths per season...and the place they are mining,its not a cylon base.the cylon base is targeted cos of thylium...this episode was for metals... ---- blackbirds don't seem to have weapons,never saw it fire a singel round,jus stealth and able to jump. mayeb if they built a Mk7 with the same materials as the blackbird...that seems more likely.

same thing with lee adama's viper MK VII.its still working ain't it? to me it that they modified the systems to be immune to the virus.,if u could do taht to one viper,i don;t see why u can;t do the same to a whole squad of vipers.

right on. if they could not rework systems in all vipers,they all woulda been killed,its like u tune settinsg in the ship systems or something,plus, its has already been shown taht u could connect and disconnect each sub system from one another(rmb how galactica mis-jump once?and has to jump back into cylon space?).and IMO the cylon virus is more of a weapon,where you swtich on,and it either works or don't works. --------- on the different styles of battlestars,the first kind type of battlestar will be those like pegasus,den they did more R&D came up with a new model of battlestar,the prototype being galactica.then,the slowly made more of the newer battle stars,while the older ones are being refitted to more current technology(this would explain why pegasus was in drydock). to me,the newer one looks much better and sleeker.the older ones looks too boxy and her fighter bay sticks out like a sore thumb.

or maybe somewhow...they transplant roslin into a cylon body.
