Personally I prefer SG-1 much more than Atlantis. In my contry they were going to air it on public TV , but they resigned that project . as they said there is a questonable relationship between Major and the black guy soldier , who on a side note i LIKe very much next to the doctor . But anyway Major Sharper is Captain Kirk in atlantis

I choose the chinese empire as it was far more developed in almost all aspects of life. Politics, administration , finance , medicine . Next would be arabians with astrology and navigation tools.

I don't have anything against gay/lesbian marriages. If 2 people love each other , the most important thing is to be happy. Of course marriage also solves the tax problem , last will issue and being acknowledge as a partner. In my country people still think that gay's are the children of satan and if they look at you 'You shall die BUAHAHA' . That's quiet common here.

Century ago it was a norm for a 14-15 yrs old girl to get married or even have children by that time. In Japan for example legal age for gils to have sex is 14 , for marriage it's 16 . Other real- life example . On my street I am curently the oldest girl. I am 21 and the only one here not married and with no kids. So I can say that young moms are quiet common here. However I do not look at this as an act of pedo relationship. Girls at the age of 14 are already fully developed in order to reproduce , the problem is their mental state . FOr me a sick relationship is with a partner younger that those 14 yrs be it a boy or a girl. I am against that .

Now it starts to souind like i am a freak by liking scince-fiction series. And as oposite to wahaha i don't think that women are more into fantasy , I would say it is still more popular with guys. About female characters in ST . I agree with werecow. Female characters are more unpredictable. Let's take Seska from Voyager. Who saw that whole betrayal coming/ Not mentioning about that pregnant stuff......When women strike...they strike hard and make the wound run deep. Other examples : Troi , Crusher , Dr Polanski and B'Elana Toress .I won't say about DS9 cause I haven't seen it yet.
