  1. I decided to revisit this one, as something kept luring me back to it. I found that I had missed out on something, and that it simply took me a while to unravel the complicated plot structure. Once I did that, I enjoyed the twists and turns of it a lot more, and began to understand how it all fit together, kind of like a mystery or a jigsaw puzzle. It's still not quite an 8 out of ten, but maybe a 7.8 is closer the mark than 7.5. :cyclops:
  2. BlackNova? I'm guessing that's a game? Well, we have had Yard, as in Junkyard, Totters Lane, which in itself is a bit of a stretch, and we are scraping the bottom of the barrel with the Ys now anyway; so, carry on with the "P." :)
  3. I've just heard it. It starts off very well in the beginning, very amusing, and then kind of goes downhill as the premise/plot becomes more and more ridiculous. Good lines, very snappy dialogue. I'd give it, maybe, . . . 7.5 out of ten.
  4. Well, I just google searched, "Polly Lopez, Doctor Who," and had no trouble finding it at all. Examples: From a cast list, here, . . . http://www.museum.tv/archives/etv/D/htmlD/doctorwho/doctorwho.htm From here, . . . http://www.relativedimensions.co.uk/companions.html And, here, . . . http://www.ee.surrey.ac.uk/Contrib/SciFi/DrWho/cast.html And, there's a story behind it, here, . . . http://everything2.com/index.pl?node=Polly So, official, or not, I think it passes, especially given some of the other peculiar words and phrases we've already accepted in this crazy game.
  5. Okay. This was a useful interlude for me, since my Internet access was abruptly cutoff last night, for unknown reasons--I wasn't able to find out what the problem was--and reestablished just now. Talk about withdrawal! :o I went to work last night in a bad mood, only to discover more annoying news, and then got home to find still no Internet. So, who's got a, "Y?"
  6. I don't know if there is one or not, because I haven't really looked. I think they are mostly putting stuff on the Internet these days.
  7. Try this: http://www.drwhoguide.com/books.htm#REFERENCE
  8. Actually, according to the rules, it should be a, "Y."
  9. Yes! :cyclops: The last valid entry we had was Hines, Frazer. (Isop was a replacement for, IF and Fury from the Deep. Hence, Prof. and the second occurrence of Fury from the Deep are invalid. The first occurrence of Fury from the Deep was disallowed because IF actually ends in an, "E,†speaking of which, EEK! This is getting complicated :o) ) Meanwhile, Antilles goes to the head of the class, while the rest of yous guys has to go sit in the corner and get cyberized. ;)
  10. *BUZZER.* Already used, by me,in fact. And, it doesn't end in, "F," either; it ends in, "E," So, the "F," is no good either. So, I think we have to replay, and start with an another, "I." Under the "I," so far we have had. Ian Chesterton Icca (Inner Constellation Corrective Authority, 3rd Doctor, Carnival of Monsters, season 10). Ice Warriors (used twice) Idiot (Kinda - you know it you understand the reference) IF (aka Index File) Impregnable Inferno Insecticide DN6 (Planet of Giants) Insufficient data (K-9’s lament) *used twice Interstitial time (time monster) Ionic Column Edit: Wait. I've found a word that starts with, "I," and ends in, "P." It's Isop (Galaxy where Vortis was located, The Web Planet, szn2) So, carry on. :cyclops:
  11. I'm not sure who to feel sorry for: the chimps or the humans. I think we got a raw deal. ;) Mind you, given the male chimp's reputation for libido, it's no wonder that human males had trouble keeping up with the competition. :cyclops:

  13. Nope. Eelek's been used already, as I said above.
  14. Ohhhhh! *GROAN!* Not to mention, Youch! :o

  16. See. I told you. That's because they all rejected the pill. Let that be a lesson to people: Never leave your rollerskates unattended, especially when you go out for a drink. Otherwise, you may wake up the next morning with a volkswagon in your bed. :cyclops:
  17. Wow! That's pretty good. I don't think we have that here, darn it. :(
  18. Poor little topics. It's so sad to be unwanted. :( ;)
