THE BORG... after all... that IS the only timeline tht didn't seem to have a close encouter with the BORG kind. n If push come to shove... they can just do a enhanced extended cut BEST OF BOTH WORLDS n release it as a TV movie. or Something about the Eugenics war. or Something about a Time Enforcer going through to time... After Enterprise anyway this can't be anymore. I had an idea for a whole serie: now the federetion could investigate trought Gamma Quadrant due a treaty with the Dominion, but not just a single ship but a Task force of explorers. If it does go well at box office etc. then yes it's a pilot for a new series, but don't all good trekkies want just that. Or are we to wallow in whats been done and not boldly go foreward. The next film should be put to fans they should decide. That way Berman is not going to wander off and produce some crap. My wanna see's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ............... This is very male opinion but I want to see some more hot babes in Trek to get the geeks blood flowing........hot babes equals more viewers..........a return of Ro, perhaps to mess up Rikers marriage.........now that would be a laugh. Heh, its a space soap opera lol I wanna see Spock die with no come back side plot. I wanna see Picard get wasted because his hand to hand combat skills are rubbish compared to the Kirk. I wanna see the Romulans turn on Riker and blast the Titan away when the peace talks fail. Troy crying her little heart out! I wanna see the weapons banned by the Federation used to wipe out a shed load of federation ships. The Romulan Empire is mostly unknown to the Federation.......lets explore that. But for gods sakes make something! My life cannot continue knowing Picard is still out there alive and despite saving the universe one million times he still hasnt been made Admiral! Generally I want to see some death destruction and shock plots.........I`m sick to back teeth of Rikers jokes at the end of the film like it some kind of fairy tale...........life aint always so sweet...........I wanna see him dieing in a captains chair that he wanted so badly. Hey Bapman, how about Riker vs Kilrathi? :D The plot so far: A naked woman, Ro Lauren probabilly(But i vote T'pol hibernated), becomes the ruler of the Romulan empire so the Tahl shiar can strike the USS Titan when Riker Explores the romulan empire. Then Ambassador Spock is killed at once FOREVER. Admiral Picard order a total war against the Romulans seeking avenge for his former number one. A lot of ships are destroyed on the booth side and at the end the new Scimitar is again against the Enterprise BUT the capitain of the ne Scimitar is Riker, who's the true leader of section 31 now allied with Tal'shiar for a new dark era of federation and suddenly a new class of cloacked federation ship turns the battle in favor of Riker (who's Ro's lover, the marriage with Deanna was a decoy). the Enterprise is in bad shape, All almost dead but suddenly... WE see some cargo ships moving with escort fighters... yes I said fighters. We have Sisco or Picard narrating... "The WAR... is over... The Invaders have been vanquished... The old enemies are now new allies. The Federation is alive. Peace has settled across the final frontier... Hmmppphh... If only... it was THAT simple... The universe... is NEVER... that simple. We see some unknown fighters decloak and blow the crap outta the cargo vessels... and their escorts. Then we find out about these unprovoked attacks on the Federation's border planets... The NEW Maquis [A group created by VOYAGER survivors]... The Cardassian war survivors etc. Basically everypne blames everyone. Our hero could be Captain Harry Kim [The long haired moody older version shown in "Timeless"] He could be captain of a Prometheus class and assigned to this duty by Admiral Janeway. He's sent to investigate the dissappearance of the U.S.S. TITAN. Capt. Riker was investigating the matters when he disappeared. He finds out about the Rogue agency... the 1st thought is Section 31. Then information leads people to believe that Riker is their leader. Then Kim discovers that the new agency has copied Shinzon's Schimitar and the Scorpion class fighters... AND has fused them with Fed n Dominion Tech. Now there's a fleet of them. Basically they r trying to launch everyone into another conflict. Their reasoning is... people are becoming soft. If there is no chaos... there is no struggles... and there is no vigilance. The end twist would be... it was Janeway... NOT Riker. Riker was there under HER command... and was kidnapped by her to make it look like that. The Section 31 isn't the group responsible.. 'cause HARRY is part of Section 31... who now have Romulan operatives after the peace treaty. In the end the Roms n Feds join forces and go against the new Enemy and defeat Janeway. A finale fight with a Fleet of Schimatars n hordes of Scorpion class fighters against a fleet of Prometheus... Defiants and Sovereigns with Delta flyers as the fighters. On the Romulan side... I don't know... name 3 cool ships. PLUS a uber cool... Lethal Weapon style 1 on 1 fight between Kim n Tuvok. Janeway's last words could be... "I DEFEATED THE BORG... I REALISED THAT A FAMILY CAN SURVIVE ONLY THROUGH STRUGGLE... I BROUGHT MY CREW BACK FROM THE DELTA QUDRANT... I WILL NOT SIT AN SEE COMFORT AND PREJUDICE RUIN THE FEDERATION" Harry Kim's reply... That's what I said... but what I was saying was that tweak it... modify it and it could be an awesome story for ST. oh n the Maquis n Cardassians won't be the bad guys. They'd the victims... and finally join forces. The very last scene would be... a Traveller watching everything unfold n going to Wesley... it has begun. Then we see the Borg queen is also watching from her place and going... Everything went according to plan... now... the FINAL assimilation. Resistance... IS futile. This was the simplistic version... the complex version would be a Time Enforcer from the 29th Century with a Traveller and we find out that the Travellers are the ones who helped the FEDS create the Time Enforcers... n develop the uber time travel tech. Like I said before... ST has so much potential... none of them are used. I swear... if I had ANY ability to write or a shred of creativity... I'd have done something with these stories.
