mateya
its loading just fine in my firefox. here is the recent news from the main page: Ron Moore Talks with Battlestargalactica.com Dec 30,2005 The following is Ron Moore's answers to a series of questions sent on behalf of Battlestargalactica.com. Ron Moore is executive producer of the critically acclaimed Battlestar Galactica series on the Sci-Fi Channel cable network, which is currently in pre-production for its third season. when I first installed peer guardian without config it, it blocked almost all my bookmarks - maybe its something similar in your case (software realted)? daro
I turned off the fire wall & still no www.battlestargalactica.com, Maybe the prob is with the ISP. (I'm through Optusnet & the IP address could be on a banned list like certern ports are blocked) I even ran the URL through Neo Trace & it couldn't resolve the the IP address either. Is there anyone else in Aust with similer probs with www.battlestargalactica.com? I use Firefox as well as my default webrowser... What the frack is going on.
mateya
maybe some of your friends in the neighborhood could try to access it form his/hers comp. just to see if they can browse without problems. is there some new software you installed in these few months while this problem has appeared? about DNS errors - if you try to fix it on your own you would probably have to meddle in windows registry and that is a tricky bussines.. here is link to http://www.tech-recipes.com/windows_tips550.html and more detailed explanation http://cable-dsl.home.att.net/dns_cache.htm#disable_neg_cache and but be careful. maybe you should also ask someone more qualified than me before you try this - like i said, its tricky.. daro
I still think the prob is with the ISP, I have even disabled the microsoft firewall that comes with XP SP2 as I have Sygate installed on my system which I can disable at will as need be. GorunNova
Something seems to be funky with your net connection, if the continual double posts are any indication...
Celestra
I have never been able to access it at all and I'm in Australia as well. I used to be able to access it at this URL http://www.battlestargalactica.com/index.htm but this doesn't work anymore either. If you want info about BSG the best place to go is Galactica Station. They have news stories about TOS and TNS as well as an excellent forum. It's probably the best source of BSG on the net B)
