Anonyman
Last night on NBC say an ad - "View the final episodes of the West Wing." Sound like it's the final year. :( Sucks. One decent show worth watching that made the viewer think.

One decent show worth watching that made the viewer think. It was announced last month that it would be ending after the sudden death of John Spencer. Truth be told it was on the ropes due to lowish ratings anyway.

Hrimmer
Yeah, sadly the ratings had been going down, and then they moved it to Sunday nights, which was pretty much the kiss of death. But in some ways I'm glad, this way it gets to be a complete story of one administrations journey through the West Wing as opposed to bringing in a whole new group of people. But I will miss it very much. Last night on NBC say an ad - "View the final episodes of the West Wing." Sound like it's the final year. :( Sucks. Anonyman
[West Wing's] not canceled but has not been on the air since November!!!! 1st pre-empted for christmas specials. Then awards shows. Now olympics. Sundays are a bad time for shows-- constantly getting preempted for other stuff. That's what killed farscape & family guy. Ummm...last I heard, Sci-fi never pre empted shows and they killed Farscape because they didn't want to pay for it anymore. And if you bothered to watch any fo the olympic coverage on NBC Troy ,you'd know that they're bringing West Wing back after the olympics are done to finish it off. Guest Mrthumps
Wow that was quick. I was going to ask Troy "how times do you have to be banned till you it occurs to you that maybe the people who run this messageboard don't what you around?" but it seems he was banned before I could do it. Oh well, I guess I could ask him again when he rejoins because you know he will ;)

Mav
I considered asking "Troy, how many bans does it take to get too the center of a Tootsie Roll pop?" but I thought "nah..too harsh" I'm getting soft in my old age.
