AkR0 Posted February 26, 2005 Share Posted February 26, 2005 i do use Bittornado 0.3.10 and am getting this msg: "Bad data from tracker-bad bencoded data" tried it a few times each with the passkey ans standart torrent ...no result... whoop newsflash ...somehow the msg is persistant but i do get 17seeds and 7 peers.... lets see if this is just a client or server bug (and please ! not affecting the file itself)! NiteShdw Posted February 26, 2005 Share Posted February 26, 2005 The 'bad data' was the tracker reporting "MySQL: Out of connections" The web server was having problems dropping MySQL connections, so it kept running out of available slots. I changed a setting that forces MySQL connections to quit after 15 seconds, and restarted the WWW server (which was chewing up about 4 times the usual amount of RAM). Everything seems a-ok so far.
